Lett at 38:30: Is there any scriptural foundation at all that would support his statement that rather than "little angels", it is more fitting to call babies "little enemies of God." ?

Why are they STILL promoting fear and masks and covid garbage?!
@Dove08 because the mask symbolizes their oath of silence, generally shown in 33° Freemason literature as hand over mouth- signaling to others their loyalty to the code of silence.
These masks inhibit verbal communication, which the GB needs now more than ever .
I’m afraid this Covid narrative they’re pushing is much more sinister than folks realize.
But the truth will come out and it’s going to come out in a big way, nothing will stop it. And when it does- perhaps we will see the beginnings of the fulfillment of Isaiah 28v19.

I can’t help but say what a terrible impact this is having…just watching and listening to those highlights of the convention made me think, “how dare they put Jehovah’s name on this piece of propaganda!”
It made me cry because of the reproach it brings on Jehovah!
I know I’m especially emotional these days but even before I lost my husband I was sad and depressed about the things I was learning about this organization.
And now, it’s like Satan wants to rub it in the faces of those who love and honor Jehovah!
How can they bring such dishonor to our Great God, Jehovah?
Anyway, that’s just how I feel.
It made me cry because of the reproach it brings on Jehovah!

Speaking of Isa 28:19, I had the great honor of alerting one of my "rank and file" buddies to that scripture today. He was amazed by it. This brother is the kind that I can speak the Real Truth with but I still have to tread lightly as he thinks the jab and masks are still god-sent. I pray for this brother every night and I hope Jehovah's spirit will influence him. God's will be done!

i too pray for the brotherhood, my heart breaks for my brothers and sisters laboring under the authoritarian regime of the Gov Body. I was speaking to @Ms_ladyblue today and we were both talking about how much we love our brothers and sisters and worry constantly for them. It’s encouraging to know that there are brothers listening to these scriptural concepts, and having a positive reaction. That’s how the awakening starts- simple truths, and a loving spirit. (-:

Hi Cyndia, I have not watched part 2 but in part 1 they have short clips of coming attractions and there was a segment on the masks. I‘m not sure if that is for another day or the 2nd half of the Friday session.Where did you see the video film at? I wanna watch it

is this a preliminary video and not the actual convention in its entirety or did they post the entire convention? i’m not sure how it works, that last convention i watched from beginning to end was 2020’s.

I presume he is wearing a name badge so that people will know that they are listening to a ‘convention‘ talk and not just another broadcast. I’ve got my name badge on, but that’s because I can’t remember who I am. Maybe Lett is in the same boat. Are there to be no more public conventions? They really seem to be getting into televangelism now. Isolated, unapproachable gathering money, going through the sales pitch and totally disconnected the - only reason for existence to garner money for a luxurious life and notoriety.

It’s all a facsimile, a pretence, an illusion, a counterfeit. The scripture describing whitewashed walls, written so long ago, now becomes so clear and meaningful.They actually encourage you to wear your name tag at home. It still surprises me you don’t have to wear a mask at a Zoom meeting

I’m thinking more about the implications of what Lett said about small children/babies being “enemies of God” in their, i guess, unbaptized status.
What makes this messaging so egregious, and so completely irresponsible is that millions of JW emotionally compromised parents will take this to heart- perhaps languishing under immense externals pressures, will take their aggression out on their children viewing them not as precious gifts from God but as God’s little enemies. This messaging will without question have a lasting impact on many parents with crushing implications.
Also consider the impact this will have on small children, little kids with burgeoning senses of self; impacting the way they view their peers, their neighbors, as it embeds into their memory formation, their psyche and stunts their ability to love Jehovah, to love themselves, resulting in an inability to love others.
This is no small matter, my hope is that this will stumble responsible parents OUT of Watchtower, allowing them to realize that Jehovah’s love is not compatible with an authoritarian regime that makes such statements, and that His boundless love exists outside of this organization.
