A pattern for the future?

I was reading the April 2023 Watchtower. It has a beautiful article (the third one), and it mentions the widow of Sarepta. While I was reading it, I started thinking... If Elijah represents the holy ones in the future and the widow of Sarepta fed him, I think that the widow represents the great crowd during the great tribulation and the last days. Just like she fed the prophet, the great crowd will help the brothers of Christ just like Jesus said they would do during the last days in Matthew 25. Besides, this taught me how the great crowd will perhaps feel without any help and lost and the brothers of Christ will help them and even protect them. Should we expect maybe a miracle from them? I don't know what to say about that, but maybe. Haha.
What I did think and it's something that we can be sure about and something that calmed me down because I've always wondered how the great crowd will be protected without having the mark of the beast is that Jehovah will never abandon us during those horrible times nor now. He will always show the way out. The great crowd will have the necessary to survive.
Furthermore, the fact that Elijah provided food shows how the great crowd will be fed spiritually during that time and it seems that they will be our protectors in some way and we will protect them too.

That's an interesting point there. Since the 2 witnesses are symbolized by Elijah & Moses, there could be patterns. So in Moses' case, the Great Crowd my be instructed by the Chosen before the War of Armageddon, just as how Israel had to listen to Moses & Aaron to celebrate the Passover while sprinkling lambs blood on the door. Life tends to have patterns/synchronicities it seems.

Moses, Elijah and the two witnesses

Rev 11:6A "these have authority to shut up the sky ..." Thats a miracle Elijah performed way back when.

Rev 11:6B "...and they have authority to turn water into blood..." A miracle Moses performed way back when

Just a couple things also both Moses and Elijah were taken by Jehovah. Although Moses was put to sleep Elijah was seen later on the earth. In Moses case he was not allowed to cross over into the promised land, prefiguring the anointed not going into the new world.

In Elijah's case his being taken heavenward in a fiery chariot, prefigures Jehovah's anointed being taken in a fiery flame. However Moses and Elijah showing up with Jesus prior to Jesus ascending to heaven was just a vision of what was to take place in the last days.

As far as the other sheep being fed by the anointed, might be reading into the scriptures whats not there prehaps. Still we don't know exactly how things will play out.

If we look at Isiah 30 :20 and 21 we get a glimpse of the G/T and Jesus and Jehovah taking over the teaching when the W/T bites the dust. Maybe we need to be ready to accept and receive instructions at that time.

We'll have to wait and see how thing play out.

It is an interesting point that you raise. I have always associated the anointed with the act of teaching. At least that was what was suggested and used by the GB consisting of anointed (back in the 60/70s) as an authority to teach. Whether there is or was an entitlement attached to the act of teaching is as you say, debatable, and I think the answer may be more to do with heart condition over head knowledge. The bible speaks of Jehovah choosing the humble to preach His word; the “least” of His people. Rather than being given authority to speak, Jehovah has simply given the humble one truth to speak, and it is that ”truth” that has given the authority of and to His purpose rather than the person wielding it. The privilege of speaking truth would bring a private sense of accomplishment in doing “what is required”. The reward for the listener, would be to understand where such teaching comes from, and this is evidenced by its faith-building recognition by the recipient in its product, namely the facet of love for Jehovah that it generates. Essentially then, it is best to refer to the scripture where it says that Jehovah “chooses” whomsoever He wishes to teach His people (sorry I don’t know where the scripture is - others will). The important point though is that you, we, do not have to wait to find out. Rather we can accept the plain fact that Jehovah will direct our footsteps according to His way. Head knowledge helps of course but it does not produce faith as any fisher-man or tax-collector will tell you. There is a contradiction though in that those chosen to speak by Jehovah, generally understand that they are anointed, yet were they not to carry out their assignment, the rocks on the ground would do so in their place. And rocks are not to my knowledge at least, anointed.

Where does the Aid come from for the 2 witnesses? Revelation, Says that when the dragon is removed from heaven he going on the persecute the woman these are the remaining ones of CHRIST brothers,They have the assignment of announcing the second coming. Like John the baptizer did who was likened to ELIJAH.The earth comes to there aid.by stopping the propaganda becoming from the devils mouth.THE primary source of the devils propaganda is found at REV 13 :13 THAT LIE being exposed will throw the dragon in a fit of rage.thus the 2 witnesses will be killed but not before they gather in the great crowd. They are liken to Jah Great army of Locust in Joel.

Exactly. And they will probably leave some as leaders before going to heaven just like Moses left Joshua in charge of Israel. Or maybe Jehovah himself through Jesus will be fully in charge. We will have to wait and see.

The locusts do not symbolize the great crowd nor the brothers of Christ. This was discarded even by the Watchtower itself. You should read Robert's book. It speaks about this topic.
On the other hand, the Bible mentions that the great crowd and the brothers of Christ will be inseparable during the last days (obviously, after the gathering). This is mentioned in Joel and Matthew 25. The great crowd will be lead by the brothers of Christ and the great crowd will be their support. So, maybe we cannot expect miracles, but what is true is that they will be inseparable. The Bible mentions this many many times in different ways. Actually, because of what the great crowd will do, they will be given the entrance to the new world just like Jesus mentioned in Matthew 25.

The locust in Joel are said to be Jah Army. They are not Jehovah witnesses (they are not in the Organization)They are said to be from very tribe and nation. These are people who will respond the the message given by the 2 witnesses. There message in introducing The Prince of Peace is one of Peace and Safety. That message gather this great crowd who no man is able to number. PEACE SECURITY TO YOU Brother of goodwill.

Interesting point @LuisMerino9412 . These scriptures come to mind.

Revelation 12:14: “But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is to be fed for a time and times and half a time away from the face of the serpent.”
Revelation 12:15,16: “And the serpent spewed out water like a river from its mouth after the woman, to cause her to be drowned by the river. But the earth came to the woman’s help, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river that the dragon spewed out from its mouth.”

Yes.We see that 2 wings our given to the woman they represent the 2 witnesses. They are given food to expose the devils lie of war and deception. Mostly exposing the lie he promotes at Rev 13:13.They introduce The Prince of Peace.

"The prophecy is actually portraying the sudden, jolting end of the ministry of Jehovah’s Witnesses as a result of the now looming global cataclysm. The devouring insects may symbolize literal armies under control of the prophetic king of the north, but it may also indicate the absolute and utter plundering of the wealth of the world by means of the machinations of the financial wizards who rule over Satan’s dark world. They have demonstrated in the past that they have not only have the power to dispossess on a grand scale, but also the inclination to do so.

The devouring locusts of Joel are depicted as climbing over protective walls and even through the windows of homes, like thieving burglars: Joel states: “Into the city they rush, on the wall they run. Onto the houses they climb, through the windows they enter like a thief.”

This may symbolize the plundering of cities and households via the crash of the financial and monetary system, upon which everyone relies. People may image that their wealth is secure, as if behind a protective wall, but that is an illusion. After all, a vast amount of wealth is stored as little data bytes on the world’s vast interconnected computer system. How secure is that? There is no encryption system that can be secure against Jehovah’s band of marauders when the time comes for God to wreck the world."

War only increases the Devil power not destroy it.The locust are depicted as Jahs Army. Not the devils. The Great crowd are a great number that no man is able to number. They come on the scene to protect the 2 witnesses and destroy the devils propaganda lie. REV 13:13 You could liken them to locust.

We must not forget that the master did leave someone to feed the flock in his absence. As it turns out that slave would be anointed Just not faithful and discrete. At least not until such time as he/they would be identified.

The current thread is about the last days that Moses and Elijah showed up in the vision.

The army of locusts in Joel devastates Jehovah's property. Joel 1:4 - 6. That is a glimpse of the halting of the preaching work because of the G/T.

So if the army of locusts are Jehovah's people, The land , fig and vine is Jehovah's too. That means what belongs to Jehovah devastates what belongs to Jehovah. OK then.
