It's cute but if you are thinking of going into the wilderness with a 22LR you will be severely underpowered in an emergency. Fine for snakes and squirrels though. Anything larger would eat you before you could put it together. How about a machete? (Even an AR 5.56 is pretty useless for hunting - only good for home defense). I'd think a shorter barreled 12 gauge shotgun would be better. You can choose what weight cartridge to use so you can get a a turkey with birdshot or possibly a bear with 000 buckshot. Or for convenience and power to weight ratio get a 10mm side arm (Glock 10 mm - good for camping trips) but know that any of these will perforate 4 walls easily so we are talking backwoods here.Found this online. might be good to have.
