So Medi-tater, taters? surfs as well. Makes sense. Funny how interests seem to bring people together naturally. Back in the 60s it was the chosen place for my entire extended family to congregate for cookouts. You could do that back then. Now, not so much. A cousin of mine had one of the old school long boards with a cork and cork hole. Maybe you never saw one of those but that was a style back then of avoiding the heaviness of foam. The old foam was too dense. It almost took two people just to get his board in the water.
It's funny that I am so far from the ocean now after being connected to it for so long.
One thing I love to see here in Hawaii that the local family have huge family parties at the beach parks and often even camp out there. People here love the beach and even during the COVID lockdown they still went to the beach. The government here just didn’t allow anyone to sit down on the sand, which was stupid but you had the police going around on ATV’s giving out tickets to anyone sitting on the beach.

But didn’t you move close to the east coast @BagdadBill? If you don’t mind me asking…
I did. I like to think that this is a temporary thing for survival. I can grow food here. It has rained every fourth day here since I moved here. When I tell people that I moved here in September, they seem to recall verbally, that this was when the rain started. We had so much a week ago that I had a lake around my brother's rental house, which I live in rent free. Shameless plug for my brother who brought me here because he loves me and wants to see me be happy. My brother could easily rent out this home for megabucks if he really wanted to and yet I am here.
Needless to say, when my brother needs help, I ask how high on the way up. He even got me work. I have been working for an electrical contractor almost since I got here. A friend who he had helped back in 2008 when the economy tanked and returned the favor via me. I was hoping to vegetate for a while but our God was not having that, so I have been working since I arrived here. The man who pays me wages is a very good man and Christian. Never fail to give God glory for what we have.

The level of retard during COVID should be fair warning. I loathe the word retard but give me a better one. Retard has nothing to do with the children born with disability and everything to do with the insanity that we are still seeing even now. The people may stand back for a minute but they/we will never agree to stop living. Living is our purpose. This is what I say to the current increase of people who are promoting this ungodly and satanic idea that the planet is overpopulated. This idea is growing like an evil root and I will burn it out with kerosene at every turn.
Our planet as I see it, can easily feed and support well over 40 billion and plus, if we are kind to each other. Past that, Jehovah would give us another planet, wouldn't he? After all, why not? Jehovah has been our Creator and biggest supporter notwithstanding Jesus who likely invented us. Jesus doesn't like willful retardation. If we have a brain it was meant to be used. Masks on the beach indeed. Slap stupidity to the ground my people.

That was really stupid on their part. The beach is one of the best and healthiest places to be…in the sun and wind. The rules against that were simply preposterous and absurd!

Did your garden produce anything? Or did the rains mess that up?
Nice to see that your brother cares about you and wants to see you happy.

Hey Susan great job! Now I feel like I know you, MED, Jen and AC personally. I also understand why you are so good with people. Your choice of work has defiantly helped you work well with people. But even more so your love for Jehovah and his people. Thank you so much!

And you're right, I know vids might not be for everyone, but it really helps me feel like I belong to a cong. SOOOOOOOO encouraging! Sort of like a digital baptism.

I would add one word of caution for everybody in this forum who is PIMO. If you decide to do a vid and you plan to remain PIMO be careful of what you say. There is a chance a PIMI may stumble upon it and make trouble for you. So if your worried about that, be vague or do like I did in my vid. Say hi and focus on secular things, work, hobbies, surroundings etc.
Yes good advice. I'll post a video at some point too. Bad hair day today lol
Funny you mention feeling like a digital Cong. Today I'm actually missing the association of brothers & sisters. I find I'm also finding it hard at times where I use to have reg study the routine I guess you could say.

Here’s a video of me driving around Honolulu (kidding!)

My mother drove like that. it came naturally to her, driving up kerbs, missing traffic lights, filling the thing up with diesel when it ran on petrol - all the while keeping up a nonstop dialogue on what I should do with my life, “get on with it then…”, or harangue me about my faults etc. Driving with her was akin to being locked in four foot square dungeon with an elders’ beard-punishment committee for six days.
