Can someone please clarify this verse in Isaiah. It is speaking of Jehovahs coming kingdom what life will be like on earth but mentions death. Is that referring to those who are unrighteous thar are being judged during that time and fail to pass judgement?

No more will there be an infant from that place who lives but a few days, Nor an old man who fails to live out his days. For anyone who dies at a hundred will be considered a mere boy, And the sinner will be cursed, even though he is a hundred years of age.

No idea! Good point to raise. I hope someone will explain.

I would love to read what Robert King says about it. I can only tell you what I have been told by others that in the 1,000 years that God’s Kingdom will rule over the earth while Satan has been abyssed, there will be resurrected ones who won’t submit to God’s Kingdom and they won’t be allowed to ruin the peace or cause injury. Perhaps they will be judged immediately and removed. Perhaps that is why we will have the 144,000 ruling over the earth with Jesus because they will be the judges for these situations. I can only speculate as I don‘t know for sure.

This has been my understanding as well.

So that is what the Scripture refers to. I didn’t think of that. It is rather difficult to consider that resurrected people would not accept the truth, given that they have a second chance. Yet, that Is precisely the case since Adam - if the truth is not in them, they just do not understand the issue. I wonder why people choose that way of life. It has no lasting value, reward or satisfaction.

Jesus will rule the world for 1,000 years. Revelation says that the dead do not come to life until after the thousand years have ended, which we understand to mean that although the second resurrection will occur during the one thousand years they will not reach perfection until the end of the thousand years. Coming to life means they will attain the life Adam and Eve had before they sinned. So, in Isaiah, it refers to a man of 100 years of age dying as a mere boy. Evidently, many of those resurrected during the thousand-year reign will not even make it to the end.

Thanks for the explanation. It makes sense.

Is talking about the new world. As people will have the hope of living forever, no one will suffer the pains of this world, like a child dying at his early age or an old man suffering the usual illnesses we find in this world. That's why it's said that someone of a hundred years will be considered very young because people will have the perspective of living forever. And yes, the last part refers to those who will be thrown into the lake of fire during that time. Not everyone will obey Jehovah and Christ bringing upon them eternal destruction. Many of them will literally have a second death since they will be resurrected.

Hard to imagine anyone turning bad after being brought back to life into ideal living conditions.
I guess that although they’ll be raised with sound relatively healthy bodies, that the old patterns of thinking and heart condition will still be imbedded and that only learning and applying what’s contained in the “new scrolls”, along with the priestly healing services of Christ and his brothers, will facilitate eventual perfection.
Won’t be everyone’s cup of tea I guess.

I bet I can tell you the type. Klaus Schwab, Henry Kissinger and pretty much any politician. These types of..."gentlemen" aren't really happy unless they are running the table. They'll probably seek the kind of power and influence they had in the old world. They won't be successful.

Predators as well. If I make it, I can't wait to see them hit a wall at 90 miles/hr when they try and act like they did in the old world. I'm sure they'll be given discipline and chances to straighten out but some just won't want to give up the old ways.

I'm sure you can think of other types...so many to choose from in our rotten world. :(

I sincerely hope they all take advantage of Jehovah's great undeserved kindness and his unmatchable mercy but, as the scripture says, some will not.

Me too kirmmy. That any would turn back to “old ways” after getting a miraculous second chance at life in such ideal conditions is perplexing to me.
