Music With a Message (Positive please)

Listening to your favourite music while completing various tasks is a terrific motivational exercise because music is a really potent neurological tool that helps us modify our thinking and mood. Also, music has the power to alter our perspective on the world and make it seem more upbeat and optimistic. Those who are willing to listen to music are the ones who are most affected by it. You can experience a spiritual uplift, feel motivated, and even get tuned in to the body's overall self-healing if you pay close attention to the right musical compositions. Good music inspires creativity and stimulates the mind.
It certainly does!

“You Raise Me Up” 🎶

Here is a Welsh love song of unrequited love from centuries ago. Very moving. It was written during the 1300‘s by a poet who was madly in love with a Noblewoman of whom he had no chance of marrying. In those days, most of Britain was run on the feudal system of lords, masters and serfs - much the same as watchtower hierarchy in fact!

I had no idea this song, “You Raise Me Up“ was a love song. I got the impression when I heard it for the first time that it referred to God raising one up from despair. A beautiful song indeed.

Hmmm, you can learn something new everyday Barnaby. Thanks for sharing that bit of background information. ☺️

The lyrics to the song “Video Killed the Radio Star” are literal— the popularity of TV and entertainment ultimately “killed“ the radio 📻 industry. I remember that to be able to hear music you had to listen to the radio. I think I had a few transistor radios back then. 🎶

CASUALTY

I watch the sky for something nice
When no one seems to bother me
Theres are awful sounds and frightful sights
And no one sees the problem here
Its not picturesque though I hear sounds of victory
I lost a friend and part of me

CHORUS:
Oh God, can't you see?
Theres nothing left of me
Oh God, answer me
Am I just a casualty?

VERSE:
My mother prays my soul to keep
Maybe someone heard her plea
The shameless stride the bells will ring
Always what will be will be
A missing link?
I thought Id be all alone
And now Im shackled from the feet
And the she prays

CHORUS:
God can't you see?
He is the best of me
Oh god, are you listening?
Will you bring him home to me?

CHORUS:
Ahhhhhh,Ahhhhh,Ah,Ahhhhhhhh
Ahhhhhh,Ahhhhh,Ah,Ahhhhhhhh
Oh God, Can't you see!?
Oh God, Are you listening!?
Oh God, Answer me!
Am I just a casualty!?
Theres nothing (nothing) left of me
Theres nothing (nothing) left of me

This could have been filed under WW3 Updates. Jethro Tull weighs in on the Nordstream pipeline sabotage, "Vlad the bad" and WW3. Except it has nothing to do with Nordic prophecy.
