I grew up in the truth. I'm in my 50's. I remember back in the day we always talked about "the New Order". First of all, Satan is copying Jehovah, so his "New World Order" is not the same as what God has in store obviously. I don't and have never put much store in the similarities, because as often as not, those things are actual coincidences. But when they are printing articles, that basically plagiarize MSM, that's a different story.
So no I don't think "New World Translation" can be attributed to the Illuminati. If it were, they would have made sure God's name, Jehovah was not in it!

OK, sure 100% "New System of Things" but it was not, "New World Order", it was just the "New Order"...subtle but different! Got baptized when I was 19 BTW! But my Father...LOL...Old school...my Dad was a P.O. in a congregation before they even had Elders. LOL. Going back to WW2!

I remember one of my father's return visits was a Mason he told us his interest in jw's was prompted by that freemason bibles have Jehovah's name in them extensively. I don't think the names pressence in the NWT is a lucky charm that can alone dispell any suspicions of nwo influence in the society.

IIRC most Freemasons use the KJV. I have a masonic bible that is the 1611 KJV.
It is interesting if you do a search on the WT CD Rom the phrase "new order" began to be used frequently in 1962. The term appears dozens of times every year. Some years over 100 times. Then in 1985, the phrase was abruptly dropped, scrubbed from the theocratic lexicon. In fact, I remember a convention speaker back then saying from the platform not to use the term any longer. So, it appears that certain GB members back then realized the term "new order" had been adopted by the occultist. More than likely the Masons in the org promoted the use of the term and other members of the Governing Body canceled them out.
I started going to the meetings 79 or 80 and the term New System and New Order was mentioned a lot. But I don't recall "New world order"

Now that makes sense...I started studying in 1980 New Order was the only term I remember using at that time. I think I was putting both together New World Translation and New Order. That was 40 years ago.

Even in Spanish! Back in 1975 "El nuevo orden de cosas"- "The new order" was the only way it could be expressed and was even in the music. (I can't remember the name, but the music was the one that was attributed to a brother who was in a Nazi concentration camp. It hit me a few years later that the term was what the globalists were using for Satan's world.

@Watchman I was thinking they stopped using the New World Order term after Busch became president in 1989 then he started using it quite frequently back then.

Yes, the phrase is included in the original version of "Forward, You Witnesses", written by a brother in a Nazi concentration camp. He wrote it trying to come up with an encouraging song to the beat of the marching procession or whatever, that prisoners had to march to...I think maybe when marching to their labor assignment or something of that nature? The line that I particularly miss of the old version, that is not in the current one is "the world and it's rulers, we do not try to please!" I sang that song out loud and that line in particular a million times during 2021, as I would march and stomp around my house, esp when I had just finished listening to a GB update about getting vaccinated. That was my way of releasing some tension, cheering myself up, and trying to restore a bit of sanity in my mind..and also "practicing" for future persecution at the hands of the world's rulers.

Keep your spirits up now. Hopefully it will help later. Climate lockdowns see to be part of the plan. China keeps building more. You don’t even have to be sick to get sent to one. Anyone in the neighborhood can test positive and you go also. Somehow they will work that into climate change.

Not attributed, just used as the refrain in the song. The refrain was... "en el nuevo orden ya cercano" which came as the last line in the chorus
