They really don’t know that truth is but one click away. How easy does Jehovah have make it for them? Everyone that looks for truth finds it at some time in their life. All you have to do is look for it. The thing is, they don't realize that they have to ask me nicely. If they do I happily delete them from my 800+ email list. Otherwise, who knows what kind of scary truths might end up in their inbox next time.

I can't be mad at a brother or sister. Thou art my people. I won't lie. I miss me some Arizona right about now. I miss the desert. I miss the country that I spent half my life in. Arizona is not a bad place to be. God said he would make the desert bloom. I moved about throughout the wilderness and found my home there. Jehovah let me be happy in that desert and I am thankful. I will return for a time but I am seeing that my proper place is in the east where there is rain and water and food growing naturally whether you like it or not. God led me to Tennessee and there I will find my proper place. I will feed millions according to my Lord's wishes.OK BDB what you put in that ARIZONA SWEET TEA MAN.

Why? We don’t know what happened that turned this man to murder. We can reasonably assume that it would have been overwhelming of reason. What we do know is that watchtower can strip a person of his faith, his family his self esteem and nullify his hope. It can leave a person with nothing and fosters a spirit of isolation. That is a space easy to fill with despair, just as the bible says. I’m not saying it’s down to watchtower, only describing what their unreasoning and unmerciful behaviours can do to the mind. The fragility of the human mind is profound in so many ways. The other facet of course is that of the bereaved families. Not only have they been brought before a bereavement that will barely fade in their lives, but also are robbed of both an explanation or adequate reasoning. It is a tragedy without resolution until the day of reckoning. I hope that there is someone to comfort these people that Jehovah will send. There is a “why?” Bill, but it will not be articulated adequately in this side of the tribulation.

Our hall did the same. No mention of specifics at all in the closing prayer. Echo chamber...Brother's prayer for today's meeting said we know we are living in critical times and just by recent events understand we will be affected. However we have Jehovah to hold onto to keep going.
No mention of prayers for ones affected by this loss. Just for Jehovah's spirit to be with speaker, and wt study which he stated was very important because this is where we get our direction from the bible.

I almost clicked off during prayer but did not want to be disrespectful. However I only made it through 5 minutes of talk. I had to click off. I very seldom can make it through. I never make it to WT that is just too much.

The fight is not physical Bill, but spiritual. Watchtower got that much right, even though they do not grasp the meaning of it. Spirituality is not passive either. It is not spiritual to believe, but to understand. Understanding enables spirituality. In many respects, that is why love is enshrined in spirituality. Believing is a by-product of spiritual insight. Spirituality is not a negative either - not a recognition of what is bad, because what is bad is a concept of and balance of informed opinion. People can scheme to do bad. Finance is one such area. Some people “love what is bad”. They find pleasure in it. Wrongdoing can be corrected but that does not put things right. It simply inhibits more wrongdoing. It is not possible to stop hearing the wickedness of the world and it is possible to be consumed by it. It can consume us. Therefore, stop eating of it. Stop walking with it. Get out of it in the same way that we get out of Babylon. We fill it and consume what is good, holy and uplifting through bringing it into our lives. The mantra of watchtower used to be “Bad associations spoil useful habits.” Look what joining the United Nations did to it. It’s the same for us. Be happy. There is much to be happy about.

I actually think I’m depressing myself with the reading I’m undertaking on the net. The system is rotten to the core and you’re absolutely correct there are so many truly evil and selfish people out there eg big pharma and money. Mate I’m gunna take the pledge and read more bible plus prayer

Why is it so offensive to JWs to compare the Watchtower's theft of 1,000 Kingdom Halls that were dedicated to Jehovah in solemn ceremony and Achan's theft? Which is worse, stealing a few gold bars from the ruins of Jericho or evicting tens of thousands of "Jehovah's servants" from their places of worship and ordering them to travel 10, 20, 30 miles further to some other Kingdom Hall? Obviously, what the Governing Body has done is much worse. Both have taken something that belonged to Jehovah, no doubt about it; but at least in the case of Achan, there were no human victims. The Watchtower cannot claim there are no hardships imposed upon the tens of thousands of Jehovah's Witnesses and interested persons, Bible studies, who have been locked out of their local Kingdom Halls.
If indeed, as I have suggested, the angels will no longer provide protection there are enough unhinged lunatics under demonic control to force Jehovah's Witnesses to come to a certain realization.
This isn't going to go away. It is just beginning.
