As you go, preach, saying: “The Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.”—Matt. 10:7.

When Jesus was on the earth, he gave his followers a two-fold commission. He told them to preach the good news of the Kingdom, and he showed them how to go about it. (Luke 8:1) Among other things, Jesus prepared his disciples for both a negative and a positive response to the Kingdom message. (Luke 9:2-5) He also foretold the extent of their preaching activity, telling them that his followers would give “a witness to all the nations.” (Matt. 24:14; Acts 1:8) In addition, he told his followers to teach potential disciples to observe all the things he had commanded. Jesus indicated that this vital work would continue even down to our day, “until the conclusion of the system of things.” (Matt. 28:18-20) And in the revelation he gave to John, Jesus clearly indicated that all his disciples are expected to help others learn about Jehovah.—Rev. 22:17. w21.07 2-3 ¶3-4
Is it possible to be too familiar with the Scriptures? I believe it is. At least to the extent that when we hear or read the same verses over and over again with no new insight or understanding or discussion of any kind, the mind simply glosses over what we imagine we know and we may overlook the obvious. It is as the apostle stated: "If anyone thinks he knows something, he does not yet know it as he should know it." - 1 Cor 8:2

First, Jehovah's Witnesses do not preach the same message as Jesus instructed his disciples. They preached that the Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near. It was near because the designated king of the Kingdom was there and he was inviting others to join him in his Kingdom. The Watchtower's message is different. It proclaims that the Kingdom is here. Every Watchtower Magazine is emblazoned with the bold subtitle Announcing Jehovah's Kingdom. When did the Kingdom come? Why, 1914, of course.

The reality of Christ's second coming is regarded as an undisputed, accomplished fact. It is simple algebra. 3.5=1,260 therefore 7 times equal 2,520. A day for a year, a day for a year. 607+2,520 days. Presto! 1914.

Except, the Watchtower is careful not to refer to 1914 as the year of the second coming of Christ for the simple reason that those who have not been indoctrinated would undoubtedly find such a claim to be utterly preposterous. But it is true. The Watchtower claims the second coming of Jesus Christ took place 109 years ago. It could just as easily have been 1913 or 1928 or 1952 or 2001, for the simple reason that an invisible parousia can be proclaimed by anyone and everywhere all the time, the same as invisible pink unicorns exist here and there. Look! There's an invisible pink unicorn! See?

As often as the Watchtower repeats itself, so do I. So, I will say it again. I know I am right because the Watchtower, as much as it tries, cannot control reality. It can only put its own spin on things. But eventually, everything will spin out of its control. I am speaking of the inevitability of war; war on a grand scale. World war. A global war accompanied by food shortages, pandemics and great earthquakes surpassing in scope and scale the past world wars, which the Watchtower claims is impossible.

Now read the daily text comment again and test to see if over-familiarity has caused you to gloss over what Jesus actually said. Moments before his departure Jesus told his disciples he would be with them all the days until the conclusion of the system. As a conjunction or preposition, "until" means up to a certain time. If a parent tells a child 'Sit in this chair until I come back' the child knows that when the parent returns then he will no longer have to sit in the chair. Similarly, if Jesus is with his disciple all the days leading up to the conclusion, then the period of the conclusion involves something much different than what took place before. In truth, Jesus did not say that the good news will be preached during the conclusion. That is a delusion that Jehovah's Witnesses embrace. The first-century Christians had their own delusion too. They imagined that the Kingdom was going to instantly display itself. Actually, Jesus said the good news will be preached before the end begins. "Also, in all the nations, the good news has to be preached first." - Mark 13:10

What takes place during the conclusion, after the preaching and disciple-making are concluded? Jesus explains: "As for you, look out for yourselves. People will hand you over to local courts, and you will be beaten in synagogues and be put on the stand before governors and kings for my sake, for a witness to them. Also, in all the nations, the good news has to be preached first. And when they are taking you to hand you over, do not be anxious beforehand about what to say; but whatever is given you in that hour, say this, for you are not the ones speaking, but the holy spirit is. Furthermore, brother will deliver brother over to death, and a father a child, and children will rise up against parents and have them put to death. And you will be hated by all people on account of my name. But the one who has endured to the end will be saved."

Humans beings have a tendency to gloss over words in documents. Good job we have Solicitors. I have a knack of reading things too quickly. I try to read the bible slowly - " The Kingdom of the Heavens has drawn near".
The good news is Christ's return! What we witnesses have been pronouncing over the last 109 yrs has been good news of Christmas past! What we have here is the good news proper of Christmas future!

My problem too.

Matthew 24
23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look! Here is the Christ,’ or, ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will perform great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones. 25 Look! I have forewarned you. 26 Therefore, if people say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; ‘Look! He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.

In (or after) the great tribulation, when we leave the organization, what do we do next?
Who do we follow without being misled by the false claims Jesus warned of?

I know for me the measure that I use to distinguish between true and false is whether or not they stay true to God’s word. I think when Jesus actually does appear to the Chosen Ones, we will see miracles because I believe it will follow the pattern of when Jesus was on earth. Think about how his disciples could know that he was truly the Messiah because others had claimed that before in their day. Jehovah provides clear instruction and Jesus stayed true to promoting the scriptures and that is what he taught them. He taught how to understand the scriptures in a way that they marveled at. I think it will be the same pattern with the chosen ones plus there is likely to be a visual manifestation of them in some way shining.

Matthew 13:43: “At that time the righteous ones will shine as brightly as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Let the one who has ears listen.”

If 'true to God's word' seems like an obvious good test.
What miracles would you expect?
Healing the blind for example? It would seem practical and kind
Perhaps providing food to those who cannot buy food due to the MOB

It’s exciting to consider but I guess we will have to see. I know that Jehovah loves to follow patterns and so I can only guess it will be like it was with Jesus.
