The Chosen TV Series

The series does ‘move’ me on occasion, when I watch it, I must admit, but I cannot envisage Jesus being so ‘Hollywood’ in his dialogue, both colloquially and in such a ‘familiar’ vernacular. Maybe I’m wrong, but nevertheless, the message does come across somewhat but lacks so much in depth of meaning - as when he healed the crippled man at the pool of Siloam. Rather like going to a watchtower study and hoping to be well fed I suppose.

The Chosen is more of a Bible based drama. The language is different because it's made for modern times. It's not meant to be spiritual food. It's more like a quasi spiritual Netflix and chill type of thing. I love the art of film making, so I perceive it from a different perspective. It is very well produced. The acting is superb, the pacing is excellent, the dialogue is well crafted.

Despite fabricating a lot of back stories and the words used being different from scripture, I admire how well researched The Chosen is. If you have the proper expectations going into it you'll enjoy it more. I see it as more of a benign bible fan fiction. Of course, Jesus didn't talk like that, and he probably didn't look like that either. I doubt Jesus was a hippy looking white dude wandering around the middle east with dusty pants on.

The show is popular simply because it appeals to emotion and the concept that one simply needs to believe to be saved. It has some relevance, but “proves false to its power” 2Tim. 3. Is not watchtower rapidly following the same pathway? The bible says at Mathew 10: 34 “Do not suppose that I come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword, for I have come to turn a man against his father…”. It’s disheartening that there is no truth to be found any more and that even the little shreds of comfort from this world are torn from us when unwrapped, but the best defence against that is to accept it, expect it, and be prepared for it because it is all lies, all of it. One has to strip the soul bare to be given truth in these days.

Yeah - it is sad to find out this information, especially if you like the show, but it is just a tv show or streaming series, and I'm really not that surprised anymore at turning over the rocks only to find squirmy occult Freemasons, or the idol worshipping Catholics and Jesuits , moving people to accept some kind of ecumenical coexist one world Religion that will ride in on their coming one world Government, they seem to be behind almost everything , after all, we have all seen the Freemasons and Rosicrucians symbols from the beginning, on all Charles T.Russell's books and the Watchtower magazine, and then he asked to be dressed in a pagan Roman toga when near death. Something that is done with high occult adapts of Freemasonry and Rosicrucians, becoming the Ascended Masters beyond death.
So I'm really not surprised to find out the Chosen series Jesus - is also a Freemason and a Catholic.

It’s much like the WT publication describes: “Satan operates much like modern-day crime leaders who put on the front of being respectable, but who, behind the scenes, do very wicked things. The Bible explains: “Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14) Thus we can expect that his schemes for misleading people would often appear innocent, even beneficial.”

And as we can see, the WT/ GB have allowed themselves to be used by Satan, the master deceiver.

maybe that's why the suit & ties were made to be so important. ( a must ! )😂 didn't Jesus say ;
