Have you ever wondered why Satan's name isn't in the Bible? Yet some angels are named; Gabriel, Michael. And Christ asked a person with a demon what the demon's name was. He said "Legion" which was just a way to say "we're many", so again no names.
Satan simple means resistor and, as some argue, we should say "the" satan, just like we do with "the" devil.
So why isn't he named in the Bible? Put yourself 100000 years in the future. You're living in an incredible paradise with many other very happy people. The Bible still exists but it's more of a history book at that point, all prophecies having been fulfilled. It also contains some beautiful poetry and psalms so it will never not be an important book. God himself wrote it, after all. And that's the reason that the devil's name doesn't appear in the Bible.
Jehovah God has nothing but contempt for this rebellious creature who has caused much suffering in his time. He isn't going to memorialize him in any way, shape or form. He'll forever be known as some "resistor" with his resistor pals who caused some harm but is now long gone, forever destroyed. It's not unlike those who die at Armageddon and are not written in the book of life. They're gone and forgotten.
It almost makes you feel sorry for him (Not). He has nothing waiting for him, not even a remembrance, just the blackness of darkness reserved forever for his evil self.
Or maybe I just missed his name while reading the Bible.
Any ideas on this?
