Loyal love moves us to reach out to those in distress. Kindhearted brothers and sisters today willingly stick with those in the congregation who are despondent or depressed. They love their brothers and sisters, and they are eager to do whatever they can to help them. (Prov. 12:25, ftn.; 24:10) This is in line with the apostle Paul’s admonition: “Speak consolingly to those who are depressed, support the weak, be patient toward all.” (1 Thess. 5:14) Often the most effective way you can help a discouraged brother or sister is by lending a listening ear and by reassuring him or her of your love. Your kind attention to one of Jehovah’s precious sheep does not go unnoticed by our God. Proverbs 19:17 states: “The one showing favor to the lowly is lending to Jehovah, and He will repay him for what he does.” w21.11 10 ¶11-12

Depression seems to be the scourge of our times. There are no doubt many contributing factors. The whole modern lifestyle is about as unhealthy as can be. We are exposed to thousands of toxins in the environment, air, food, and water, on a daily basis. Then there is the electromagnetic pollution that emanates from all the gadgets and devices. Our nervous systems are very sensitive and can be damaged and overwhelmed by sensory overload.

I would advise to eat as much fresh organic food as possible. At the very minimum drink filtered water. Do not drink tap water!!! Besides the chlorine and fluorine added to the water, so many people are on prescription drugs, including antidepressants, that pharmaceuticals have found their way into municipal water supplies and cannot be removed by their filtration systems. Yikes! If you drink well water get a reverse osmosis system, if you can afford it. If you live in a farm community just count on the ground water being contaminated with pesticides and Round-Up.

Another more recent addition to the toxic overload is the vaccines. Besides the known issues of blood clotting and heart damage, no one really knows the long-term damage of these experimental mRNA elixirs. Depression might be the least of the long-term effects. No doubt many of Jehovah's Witnesses only submitted to the injections because the Governing Body claimed that Jehovah provided them. And now they have to live with it. How discouraging, knowing that the leadership of the organization most likely sold out Jehovah's sheep for money. At the very least they did nothing to inform JWs about the dangers associated with the mandated hospital protocol that disallowed known effective drugs and required the use of deadly Remdisivir and intubation. Hospitals got paid handsomely to kill their patients and blame Covid. By their silence, the GB are complicit in the murderous scheme.

If you have an opportunity to speak consolingly to those who are depressed and discouraged over the increasing lawlessness and hypocrisy displayed by the leaders of the Watchtower hopefully you can share with them some of the information on this forum and e-Watchman. The good news is Jehovah is going to call them to account.

This is rather depressing since I feel like my life is being sucked out of me living in my home. I recently came back from vacation visiting my family & I have noticed my state of mind. As much as I enjoy home cooking & try to stay away from unhealthy foods & filter water, there always seems to be something that gets through (to much of my frustration). Plus, the WIFI router is literally next to my room & it's likely why my mind is mired in fog. I have asked my grandmother to perhaps turn it off around bed time. Howbeit, she claims the walls should block it (yeah right...). Plus, my uncle is up most of the night & he would freak out & wake me up because of it. I genuinely feel trapped.

Sorry Brother pj54. You mention the wifi router. Mine sits right next to my easy chair, I can reach down and touch it. Is this dangerous? Where is a safe place to put it?

There's a contrast between these to quotes above..One, those who are commanded to practice such things and two, those who are asked... The first four words in the superstructure is, "Happy is the one" which is a reward given to those doing it out of love, the second reward is being rescued by Jehovah in the day of our calamity. The watchtower would do will to practice what they preach when it comes to consoling the depressed or down trodden, which in large part is by the hands of the so-called do gooder leader class who demand payment or rent to park guilt in the heads of the sheeple's. Like the window and orphan who are deliberately neglected by the leaders, or the depressed souls destroyed by known Pedophiles in the ranks... The constant demand for donations causes depression as well. The WT places their heals on the throat of the already over sheared sheep for more doe which is never enough... If they really cared about the sheep's welfare they wouldn't be blowing millions on real-estate deals, and stupid asinine movie production projects...The watchtower doesn't pay my rent, buy me clothes or food.. The wise man Jesus commaned his disciples ..Cure the sick,+ raise up the dead, make lepers clean, expel demons.( You received free, give free).+ 9 Do not acquire gold or silver or copper for your money belts,+ 10 or a food pouch for the trip, or two garments,* or sandals, or a staff,+ for the worker deserves his food..
"The worker" deserves his food.. That means the blood sucking leaders are to go get jobs... They can teach while they work as we do, on break or days off...That would lift a huge load of depression off the skinned and thrown about sheep... Funny, I can't find a single scripture that says we're are to pay for WT Pedophile crimes, movie studios or opulent buildings.. They're just a bunch snake oil salesman..if you're stupid enough to give money to these brainwashing criminals, then you deserve the purple life saving cyanide they'll be serving up on the day of calamity.
I'll say it again...if you want to help..go to those who need it..visit the elderly, or ask if there's someone in need..

Also, if you watched the drama at this year’s convention about the African witnesses having to escape the war starting in their area, so they had to travel and get to the refugee camp the brothers directed them to go…alas! there was a contribution box nailed to a tree, above it was the j dub dot org sign. Imagine…asking REFUGEES for contributions! I say, this should be a RED FLAG!!

Just read your "fire from heaven" article.. Are you saying nukes will unlikely not be used, that the scriptures reference to "fire coming down from heaven" is now, leaning towards a supernatural event? I know it's complex to fully understand what's going to happen. I stumbled upon a video about how many satilites armed with weapons are orbiting the earth..Russia and US both have such weapons in space not as big as ICBMS but certainly powerful enough. You also mentioned it seems WMDS being unleased is what causes the Almighty to step in and prevent world catastrophe. I also read an article a few years ago, where the queen of England said she wanted to keep infrastructure intact for the NWO. Idk seems to me for the Almighty to act for humanity's sake would mean something earth shaking would be involved like a few nukes, not much more earth shattering than that. Unless the fire the beast causes to come down is a gaseous smoke type weapon..?

Robert mentioned the availability of electromagnetic shielding devices to help you not absorb so much of those harmful radiations. If you can’t disconnect the router, maybe look into an earthing sheet you can sleep on and remain grounded thereby neutralizing the routers as well as any other harmful radiation in your location.
Amazon has loads of products at reasonable prices.
These sheets come with a chord that plugs into your electrical outlet and just taps the grounded side of the plug.
Otherwise you could go out and put your feet on wet grass each day and that would help counter the negative effects of these frequencies that bombard us daily.

I think he said it will be both. I’d have to read it again but I think there is was a scripture saying the dragon caused fire from heaven and a different scripture that talks about smoke.

Notice the 2 different sources of the fire versus the clouds of smoke. Apparently Revelation is speaking of one event instigated by Satan and Acts and Joel are speaking of another event from Jehovah.

Revelation 13:13: ”And it performs great signs, even making fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the sight of mankind.”

Acts 2:19-20: “And I will give wonders in heaven above and signs on earth below—blood and fire and clouds of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and illustrious day of Jehovah comes. And everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.”’

Joel 2:2: “And I will give wonders in heaven above and signs on earth below—blood and fire and clouds of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and illustrious day of Jehovah comes. And everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.”’

Joel 2:30: “And I will give wonders in the heavens and on the earth, Blood and fire and columns of smoke.”
