Why was the realisation of nakedness made a factor in eating from the tree of knowledge. Genesis 3:11.

Prior to the sin, Satan obviously had knowledge of good, as that was all he had ever experienced or seen, yet he didn't retain a true knowledge of bad yet. Yes, he knew what bad was, but he had never experienced it, or could associate it to an actual event.
How could he know what "bad" was? He originated bad, no?

he problem we have is we are trying understand the world of Adam and Eve from within the world in which we live.
we have a tendancy to try to compare then with now,
That's exactly why people have such a problem with the Biblical flood. They don't realize that the earth at that time may have been drastically different from how it is today.

yes, we all see the same evidence of water impact on the earth, evolutionist see it as a little water over a long period of time, beleievers in the biblical flood see it as a massive amount of water over a short period of time
same evidence, different conclusion

Why was naked self awareness a factor in the fall of man? Why should it be a part of imperfection, and was the presumption of sexual impropriety due to imperfection a foregone conclusion? Why should imperfection carry this extra burden with it?
well if they wouldn't eat that good looking apple.......I may not exist today, maybe instead of me would be somebody else...

Going by jubilees if memory is correct Adam was seven years old at the fall. I have a longer response to the past few posts I'll write some point before bed tonight but remember people procreated at a glacial pace back then. Most couples recorded preflood had there firstborn some point in the range of 100-300 years old. Noah was 500 before he was a father.
like the numbers especially the 500... any possibilities for higher one ?

When you're a kid, and you're in trouble, you usually feel like hiding. If you can't see your parents then they mustn't be able to see you kind of idea haha... Is that why they hid? They were avoiding God... They didn't even want their bodies to be visible? Could it have to do with an overwhelming feeling of shame?

Ge 3:10 why would you be afraid because you are naked? ......JEHOVAH asked "who told you that you were naked"?
JEHOVAH didn't ask "how do you know" but "who told you"..so it is not about self awareness at that time in the Eden were only two residents Adam and Eve. ...Could it be the serpent?

what could be drastically different from now? the trees are a trees live for 100s of years, the grass is a grass, the meadow, mountains are the same. there is nothing different under the sun. nature doesn't change drastically they are the same but what changed drastically is the mankind.

maybe we should call the climate expert Greta Thunberg ?

It's been theorized that, at the world's creation, there was a single continent like the so-called pangea. No need for any of mankind to travel across oceans to visit one another. Also flatter. The highest "mountain" being no more than a couple of thousand feet, hills really. The forces unleashed by the flood split the super continent into what we see today. The ensuing movements of the tectonic plates caused the high mountains as they are today. This theory fits with the flood narrative and known science, AFAIK.

This idea doesn't originate with me, BTW.

There could be also some credence to the hollow earth theory since there's an underground ocean.

That is awesome PJ. I'm going to be checking those sites and videos out.

Back and amazing. The water is actually broken down to OH and H and stored in the rock. 3 times the water in all the worlds oceans. Amazing! And now we know that when the Bible says that the watery deep was released during the flood, the water was there. Most of it may have gone back there too.

It also means that there is a metric butt ton of energy stored in the earth as hydrogen. Probably too deep to be useful at this time though.

It is more than likely that the tectonic plates are there to equalise the trim of balance within the earth, though it is certainly true that the continents ride upon a sea of magma. The theory that the earth was less mountainous prior to the flood was propaganda put about by a jealous Dutchman, distraught at the flat and featureless terrain that his native land was subject to.
