Greetings!
I want to share with you some daily texts wrote by brother Sas in 2005 ... few of them that I have tried to translate in english
I hope you will understand, considering that the translation is not very correct:
"Put to death therefore your members which are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry;"
Colossians 3:5
.
The respective "members which are upon the earth" of which the inspired apostle speaks here, are not deeds that one commits without his will:
- neither fornication, nor uncleanness, nor passion, nor lust, nor greed, which is in fact identified with idolatry.
If you have received teachings that explain that such sins are covered by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, you have certainly been deceived !
Why? Because the Word of God draws attention to such things, saying:
“ Let no man deceive you with empty words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience."
Ephesians 5: 6
-- If the truth has not been explained to you in this way, leave the wrong teachings, and those who gave them to you,
and take the Holy Way (Isaiah 35:8,9), putting to death your "members" that are upon the earth !

"... a path, a road, which will be called the Holy Way ...
... it shall be for the saints only " Isaiah 35:8.
.
Of course, it is not without meaning to explain what "sanctification" means, namely: an extensive process of cleansing, as we read in God's Word:
"So if anyone cleanses himself of these, he will be a vessel of honor, holy, useful to his master, worthy of any good work." 2 Timothy 2:21.
Why exactly should every true Christian be cleansed?
The apostle Paul says, "... beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all uncleanness of the flesh and spirit, and let us carry our holiness to the end in the fear of God." (2 Corinthians 7:1).
Let us understand, therefore, that "holy" means - not "set aside" - but "cleansed" of the two kinds of defilement - of the flesh and the spirit.
.
Those who promoted the idea of "set aside" unknowingly promoted a false, misleading idea that led many to believe that they could benefit in a special way from the sacrifice of Christ,
even if he still and willfully violates God's commandments.
The apostle Paul says:
“Let no one deceive you with empty words; for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the disobedient. ” —Ephesians 5:6.
Therefore, whoever wants to be "useful to his master", and "worthy of any good work", let he "be sanctified", that is, to be cleansed!

"Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem?
or have I no power to deliver?" Isaiah 50:2.
.
The answer to these questions should make anyone think, because everyone knows and acknowledges that Jehovah's power is immeasurable.
So why it is put the question this way?
Of course, there is a well-founded reason, which we find noted in God's Word.
Here is the answer:
"No, the hand of the Lord is not short to deliver, nor his ear too hard to hear.
but your iniquities have put a wall between you and your God; your sins hide His Face and keep Him from listening to you. ” Isaiah 59:1,2.
Therefore, it is not JEHOVAH's fault that His face is hidden from those who do not heed these wonderful things that He now brings to light,
but as we have seen, their iniquities, their sins.
That's why they don't understand these things, but they have no good excuse.
Take heed to the Word of God that says:
,,Because I have called, and ye have refused;
I have stretched out my hand, and no man hath regarded;
But ye have set at nought all my counsel, And would none of my reproof:
I also will laugh in the day of your calamity; ...
... When distress and anguish come upon you."
Proverbs 1:24-27
-- Do you take heed to the counsel of Jehovah; do you like His rebukes?

.
"Who will separate us from the love of Christ? ..."
Romans 8: 35a.
.
After the inspired apostle asked this question, he listed the things that could separate us from "the love of Christ," indicating that a true Christian should not be separated from this love.
Speaking of this aspect, the apostle says: "neither angels, nor dominions, nor powers, ..." "will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Jesus Christ our Lord". Romans 8:38,39.
And so it must be in the case of a true Christian!
But he himself, the apostle Paul, wrote to the Thessalonians a prophetic thing that would be fulfilled in the last days.
He writes of an adversary (the man of lawlessness) who "will sit in the temple of God, exalting himself as God", that is, exalting himself as God's appointed "government" over His people. 2Tessalonians 2:3.4.
This "government" (power) has corrupted some "with all the illusions of iniquity", "because they have not received the love of truth". 2Thessalonians 2:10.
They "found pleasure in iniquity" - 2Thessalonians 2:12.
To them, Satan has become "an angel of light" (2 Corinthians 11:14).
Thus those who were "seduced by flattery" (Daniel 11:32), and thus broke the covenant, were separated from the love of Christ by "angels, dominions and powers" !
For all those, however, who have not broken their covenant, but have been and still are "stained" by erroneous teachings given by the "man of lawlessness" and also by practices derived from these teachings, now there is the possibility of purification, - because JEHOVAH has opened "a fountain to wash away sin and uncleanness" in these times (Zechariah 13:1), and as such, they have the opportunity to purify themselves and prove better than ever that they will not let themselves be separated "from the love of Christ".
-- Will you be among them ?

" ... The pride of Assyria will be brought down..."
Zechariah 10:11.
.
The Assyria we read about here is nothing but the "Assyrian-led domain".
that is, the organization he leads, and which today bears the name of "Religious Organization of Witnesses"!
As we saw in yesterday's text, "The Assyrian" trembles at the "voice of Jehovah", and this was because He made it known that He would punish him.
Here is what the prophet Isaiah wrote in this regard:
"... I will punish - says the Lord - the king of Assyria for the fruit of his arrogant heart, and for the pride of his haughty looks." (Isaiah 10:12b).
Of course, through this action both the pride and arrogance of this Assyrian and of his land or domain will be broken!
Of course, when the emperor of an army falls, the army disperses, and this is the case to the man of lawlessness, and to those who take him as invincible captain.
And to understand that this "Assyrian" is in the land of JEHOVAH - seated in the holy place, we read the biblical passage of reference.
Here is what Jehovah personally declares:
" I will break the Assyrian in My land, and upon My mountains tread him under foot." — Isaiah 14:25a.
.
This action of JEHOVAH will definitely break the pride of "Assyria"!
When?
Here is what Scripture says:
"... after the Lord has done all His work on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem ..." - Isaiah 10:12a.
What "work" is all about, again the Scriptures help us to understand.
Here's what we read about this:
"For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and out of mount Zion they that shall escape.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts shall do this." - 2 Kings 19:31.
Therefore, once this work is completed concerning the deliverance of the remnant from the oppression of "man of lawlessness" (the man of iniquity), JEHOVAH will punish this Assyrian !
"The Lord of hosts has made this decision: who will oppose him?
His hand is outstretched: who shall turn it back?” Isaiah 14:27.
- Whoever you are, man, what do you say, do you have the courage to resist to Him?
Do you think that you can "turn back" the hand of the Almighty ?
You only have to be crazy to answer "yes" to these questions !
-- Pay attention to these things, and be interested to see what you have to do.
