Beards allowed for all brothers

What about sisters, can they have beards too? I mean it's only fair.
I've really been giving this some thought. I have decided I am going to start identifying as a woman, but I refuse to shave my beard, so to answer your question, yes. I also refuse to wear woman's clothing etc, but that doesn't matter. It's "my truth." I'm doing my part to "fight the patriarchy."

There is a FB Group called JW Letters...my wife is a member, I think I am gonna join it, just to post the insanity here...but it reminded me of the drama they did a couple years ago, where Martha's neighbor was bashing Jesus, all because the Pharisees said so...hmm, what do they have in common with the GB. Well, like the Jews, that was actually, and scripturally, "God's organization." Yet, somehow, God's "chariot" had in fact left them behind. LOL. In other words the Pharisees used the exact same reasoning to claim they were never wrong. In fact I think you could argue quite substantively, that they had better credentials to claim they were God's representatives than the GB do. Much better. In fact it wasn't their interpretation of scripture that established that fact, it was God himself, by freeing them from the Egyptians, and eventually giving them the "promised land."

Also of critical note, is it also didn't stop God from TAKING IT FROM THEM!

Ok, and with that, since I am now identifying as a woman I am going to go cry myself to sleep!

I find it so ridiculous that Jehovah literally made men and women differently, one of the distinct features of a men is facial hair. Yet they weren't allowing a man to have it lol. Also when I open any brochure/literature the watchtower wrote about biblical figures even Jesus they almost always have a beard. 🤣

Man I know, I'm going to miss having our own defiant Bearded brothers club. It's like they've gone and ransacked our very own frat party. The GB growing beards would actually make them more appealing to listen to, and would have me thinking "Pharisees and Saducees" when watching them. Robert, what if we start shaving now just to explode their minds.... would that then make you spiritually weak/sick... or more in touch with God's purposes?

What about just Hard-core goatees? Lol

This new light has got me so shaken up that I am thinking about shaving. ;)

I guess these really are the last days of the last days before the last day of the last days. :sneaky:

The wild part too which really goes to highlight the psychological aspect to all of this and how JWs truly are indoctrinated to judge by outer appearances ...is that if for some reason I simply decided I wanted to shave my beard off today, because maybe I felt like something different and/or wanted to change my look....that people in the congregation would actually think I'm doing such to be continually rebellious towards the GB. Now they said beards are ok, I go and shave it must mean Jehu just wants to defy the leadership every chance he gets! How incorrigible he is! Lol

Not only did THEY decide it was ok for brothers to have beards but the GB counsels the congregation how to think and feel about the change in this. They want to police your thoughts…

So do you feel that those of us whom have bucked the system a bit means we have failed the test? I for one know that I am internally still working on some serious imperfections when it comes to being a single bachelor. But I can honestly say that when I started growing facial hair 10 years ago it wasn't because I just wanted to be rebellious and defiant. It just felt the right thing to do, a masculine path, and helped counter some of my inherent balding going on on top. But I guess one could argue that my unwillingness to wait for face hair approval coincides with my inner obstinance to once and for all purge my inner self of all fleshly weakness as a single man. But one could also argue my inner passion for truth, justice and God could serve as the truest testament as to the man I am. You know Robert it's true, the brother Ralph who kept his beard and left his wife and kids for a floozy surely did leave the elders some vindication. But man, I've seen a lot of clean shaven baby bum faced elders leave their wives etc too. So perhaps it's all just a crop shoot and only Jehovah gets it. But you're right, Jehovah loves to test! Question is, does He simulataneously have a tiny smile and relates to the Alpha men who just hate being micro managed by a bunch of panzies?

So, I guess there is a reason Jehovah allows the dictators to have their way for now. It is a test. Everything is a test. I remember a Bethel brother years ago said that half of the brothers at Bethel were there to test the other half. I think he was spot on.

I remember many, many moons ago, about 40 years. There were a few elders and servants who had mustaches and a little patch of hair right below the bottom lip. Circuit Overseer came to visit, it was a Thursday night, during the school and service meeting. I was standing by the literature counter talking to my buddy who was literature servant. Then another elder came by, who was Hispanic, and he told us that the C.O. wanted us to shave off the bottom hair lip. I just looked at him. "What excuse does he have?" I asked. He said it was an organizational rule, I told him, to show me from the literature, and he just shook his head. "That's what he wants" I said "It doesn't matter what he wants, it matters what the Scriptures say or even what the Society says. What's he going to do delete us if we don't shave it off?"

Sunday morning Two elders and 4 servants came in clean shaven. The four servants were black, the 2 elders were Hispanic and black. I walked in with my lip hair. No one said a thing. I was defiant, I was PIMO, before PIMO was a thing. They did nothing. I eventually stepped down and left the congregation.
