I want to tell you all an experience . . .

what did you think of Ray Franz’s second book? I haven’t read it. I’m wondering if i should take the time to read it. Did you like it?

I read Leaving The Witness which I didn’t really find very edifying or interesting, i read Doomsday Deception: The Rise and Fall Of Watchtower which was very well researched and I must say, a great read, and of course Crisis of Conscience, which is when/how i learned of the events leading up to 1975.

I thought about reading Lloyd Evans’s The Reluctant Apostate, but the more i hear what is trickling out about Lloyd, the further i want to distance myself from anything having to do with him. I appeared on his show and now i regret that. Something’s not right with that man. I can’t prove it but i think, i mean i believe that his viewers (subs) and patreons have been played. bigly.
Crisis of Conscience is a good read as it looks behind the WT curtain which the majority of JWs will never peek behind. Christian Freedom is more about Ray's Christian beliefs after leaving the WT, some of those beliefs I agree with others not so much. I thought Ray went a bit soft, you know like a lot of Christians do: "God loves you know matter what you do" and the like. The book didn't captivate me like his 1st. So far I haven't found anything in the same league as Roberts book in expounding the truth.

Unfortunately for Lloyd being an atheist he has nothing to offer other than his opinion. He has done a fine work in revealing the WTs dirty deeds but then what? Live out your remaining years as an empty vessel with no hope other than this world. Life would truly be vanity then.

@BillyRay And Jehovah did get that brother the truck. You were the vessel.

nah. My husband got it for him. and i got nagged relentlessly for about two weeks because of it. it really drove a wedge straight through my marriage. my husband was very resentful. he just didn’t have it in him to run them JWs off like he should have. i mean the whole thing was just shady af.

Not really needed. I hunted down your video that was mentioned in the comments. It told me everything I need to know. Thanks.
and i know you’re not judging me at all which i do appreciate very much. i’ve been through a lot and i almost succumbed to Satan’s désigns. I said some thing out of ignorance that i have since repented from and i rely on the grace from Christ my redeemer and Jehovah my life giver.

I did not leave Watchtower in a smooth way- i was basically ripped from the org, and it left an open, gaping, wound that didn’t heal right. but i’m ok now and i know you are glad about that, and I appreciate every kind word and all your warm encouragement. Thank you!

Barbara Anderson was in the Brooklyn bethel for years and she worked in the writing dept, I have also read her account of what took place over many years, WT tell us not to look up information outside as it is misinformation or worse apostasy, all of those excuses to keep us from knowing the truth, I’m certainly not saying that everything bad everyone says about the org is gospel but there is no smoke without fire.
I always say 'the Watchtower and the Truth' are two contradictions.
