Do these people who are supposed to be showing the way forward , and should be shepherding Jehovah`s sheep not think that a woman is capable of speaking for herself ? Why do they think a man is writing , or showing you what to write ? I think that is what needs to be investigated . Are they implying that a woman is not capable of deep thought ?

Exactly! Their mentality is, ‘I’ll comply to you oh leader, GB…my idol.’What is this with elders citing 3 scriptures for you to read-with no explanation on how they are applying them? I got the same type of reply from one of the elders when I sent them an email about why I would not consider taking the Covid mRNA shots. One of the scriptures they quickly sent back was Romans 13:1?! I had no idea why they would even send that to me! There was no law in the United States for anyone to be vaccinated! And when I replied to the email, I got no further explanation. It’s like the elders are just told a script to follow and they do it without thinking for themselves. It’s really heartbreaking and sad!

You tagged them on idolatry. They automatically assumed you had a problem with Jehovah since, in their minds, Jehovah and the Watchtower come in a boxed set. You can't have a problem with the organization and not have a problem with Jehovah. Hence, they betrayed their idolatrous mindset. That would be like the Jews assuming Jeremiah, or one of the prophets, had a problem with Jehovah since they spoke against Israel and Jehovah was the God of Israel. Dumb.

Sounds as if you're having a tough go of it, Ms_ladyblue, but, no doubt about it, you're holding your own. Jerry just read Watchman's comment about changing your name to Lady Firecat and gave a thumbs up. He thinks you are extremely courageous. BTW, Jerry and I both thought the things you communicated to the elders in your texts were excellent. However, we're concerned that their ultimate goal in meeting with you is to establish grounds for a judicial hearing with the goal of disfellowshipping. With that said, if you are prepared for that outcome, we understand your need to expose them for what they are as well as the WT/GB. It also gives you the opportunity for you to take a stand for truth. But, ultimately, you are the only one that can make that decision. It appears your resolve is to not meet with them in person and that seems to be a wise decision. (Phyllis)
