That’s another reason I loved Peggy Hall’s videos. She hammered it home that a mandate is not a law. Mandates only apply to Governmental Agencies-NOT to every day citizens. I don’t even think the Brothers understood that point. I know I didn’t before I started watching Peggy’s videos. And even if a “Mandate” did apply to regular citizens- we are still commanded to “obey GOD as ruler rather than men” and I know Jehovah would never require us to follow a Law to inject ourselves with a poison. That’s why the elders constantly bringing up Romans 13:1 did not make any sense.

We questioned even the masks when going back to the hall and they quoted the local county health department site. We asked to see exactly where and they gave a link. I never wore a mask in the Kingdom Hall! We have to be careful of how words are being used to mislead us! They had a small little 4 x 6 graphic in a frame at the front door that said “masks are strongly encouraged“. Again, NOT a law. And for me, it was even a health risk to wear one because I would have passed out!

Same here, so stayed on zoom. The peer pressure was insane. Then we heard about the ones who didn't wear them and thought good for them even though others were seeing it as rebellious. We still see people wearing masks even in cars and outside.

Yes, same for us! We did go to the first two meetings maskless, but it was just too much for me to endure psychologically and I could not stand being in a room full of brainwashed brothers! I think I’ve told the story elsewhere on this forum, but the second meeting we were at, a brother came up and spoke with the couple sitting behind us within earshot asking them “Do you like wearing these masks? Either do I but we’re being obedient!” Then the floodgate of tears broke open, and we had to leave the KH and stayed on zoom until people came back to their senses. And yes, there are a few sisters who still have not come back to the hall and stay on zoom. And a few who come to the hall quite often wearing their fancy designer masks! L O L.

In fact, when you are DF’d they say that you are dead…spiritually dead. And they treat you as if you are physically dead.

Psychologically, I couldn’t stand to be out in public at the beginning of all this so called pandemic. I couldn’t stand seeing all these people wearing masks and I certainly wasn’t going to the Kingdom Hall to be surrounded by all these robot looking people.
That‘s a poor spiritual example. Besides, I haven’t been nor will I ever attend a meeting again, especially at the Kingdom Hall my late husband and I attended the last time, four years ago.

I do have to admit that I was afraid in the beginning, right after losing my husband…I didn’t want to go through this alone…I even took my initial username off this forum afraid someone might come on here and recognize me. I had a side profile picture of me at first, then I changed that as well as the username.
My goodness, this is like going into the protective custody program…unless you don’t have a problem with being found out…which I’m at the point now that I don’t care. What else would I have to lose anyway?
You see that avatar picture of my husband and I? It was taken about seven years ago after the Memorial. Who would’ve known I would be where I am now, but I’d rather be here than completely alone.

The difference between me and Barn is this...Barn reminds me of like a Sherlock Holmes character... I'm more like the ornery ship Captain...or maybe mix us together shake it up and pour, and one or the other comes out..company.... or maybe a combination...haha..
I'm definitely in good company to be sure...oh wait, I don't think so, let's revise that... I'm definitely in the BEST compnay....thanks for that compliment!

It's the way you think, your thought process simply resonates with me. As for Barn, well let's just say he has a fairly large file. I just never want to forget the gems you guys (and a host of others on this forum mind you) come up with. Diamonds I tell ya!!

By way of a quick reminder, @Watchman Robert had previously thought that the Hebrew prophecy where it talks about the leadership being murderers that it was likely to be applied to what you guys just said, being disfellowshipped and then the follow up shunning, spiritual murder. That is until the scamdemic and the vax came along and Robert's application was adjusted to include literal murder. Amazing!!

Es como ir al examen con los apuntes escondidos. Ya les veo buscando sin éxito al llegar la gran Tribulacion en sus bibliotecas digitales, si es que pueden. If you try to make one of them think, a publisher, for example, (a strange name for a Jehovah's sheep, by the way) are not able to have a conversation without the guidance of a book published by the Governing Body. It's like going to the exam with hidden notes. I already see them looking unsuccessfully when the great Tribulation arrived in their digital libraries, if they can. That always made me think, so much kingdom parlour, for what?
