The Memorial Is April 4 This Year - "Right Around The Corner"

We noticed that also, the full moon is April 6th in Jerusalem. We found the issue goes back to the new moon....something to do with when it actually is new and when it is observable as a crescent. I don't understand it well enough to explain/repeat information about it, but when I encountered the explanation, I thought it made sense.
So, it seems this is happening this year as all of the previous years it followed the same pattern.

I need to ask one or both of you a question. I’m not trying to raise an issue about this but a former witness sister and I were talking recently and she asked if I noticed that on the evening of the Memorial, which is April 4 this year but there’s not going to be a full moon that evening. I looked up the last three years for Memorial dates then Googled that month and what day it was a full moon. Well, we know that we have to take into consideration we are going by the Hebrew calendar so the day’s difference compensates for the day there.
But this year is different. When I Googled April 4 2023 full moon it says:

The Moon phase for April 4th, 2023 is a Waxing Gibbous phase. This is the phase where the moon is more than 50% illuminated but has not yet reached 100% illumination (which would be a Full Moon).

So the full moon for this year in April is actually on April 6. This says here:

In April, the Full Moon will also be called the Full Pink Moon, it will be on Thursday, April 6 at 12:34 a.m. EDT or 5:34 a.m. UTC. This will be the first Full Moon of the 2023 spring season.

I’m not sure this has any significance, but why the change after all these years?
You’re scaring me. For a minute I thought I would have to count all the days from Nisan 14, 33 ce! So, glad we figured it out.

I will also attend in person. Just this February, our cong announced that unvax persons can now attend in person. I have been attending in person unmasked since Feb 22. Many still are becoming sick, I hope they don’t blame me.
Can you clarify about that announcement? There was never a requirement for any public meeting....so I am confused about the word 'now' ???

A suggestion about the initial post in this thread, concerning handing out cards
rule #1.) Keep your lips zipped
rule #2.) See rule number 1

You will only bring trouble on yourselves; but if that is what you want to do, then so be it

Part of the Borg mentality is to indoctrinate the R&F into a persecution mindset; for what will be seen as such a "brazen" act will just play into that and use it to their advantage as further evidence of persecution.

That is part of the reason why they push door-to-door field circus so much; they tell you that you will be treated badly, and when you are, they say "See you were persecuted". It galvanizes the R&F together and they isolate themselves.

I won't say D2D is completely ineffective, but it is a colossal waste of time. As of now, probably 90-95% of hours are spent riding around, going to Starbucks, and doing pretty much anything else but D2D. There is a reason they don't sell vacuum cleaners and knives door to door anymore.

I talk to this lady who works in one of the kiosks in the mall and she told me the other day that she’d been reading and seeing the news about JW’s going to court and about the organization having something to do with them protecting pedos.
She’s been renting an apartment from one of our elders here for 14 years, Now he tells her she’s gotta move because he wants to let a witness move into her apartment. She‘s not young and has been a good paying tenant but in a rush to find a place now.

when asked at the memorial of your whereabouts, stress your (1) continued love for jehovah but being (2) stumbled by the non-scientific promotion/threat the gb took around the vax issue and that continued support is (3) bothering your bible-trained conscience going against jehovah's stance of neutrality. Planting the seed this way may give the greatest chance for pause and consideration in the future as more crap hits the fan uncovering the scam. i agree handing anything physical out will seem weird or apostate. anyone currently curious would have googled this issue already

i heard the Philippines was very strict. i wonder if there was some big gov payout money...
I don’t know, but they were zealous for the laws of man, and also maybe their fear of death. The government here has not yet remove any restrictions regarding entering an establishment without vaccine passport but it seems back to normal since mid 2022. So I’m surprised that they have been ahead of the government policies.
