Unless those days were cut short no flesh would be saved

It is almost laughable that the Watchtower teaches that the great tribulation, which Jesus said would be the most horrific disaster in all human history, will be when the United Nations outlaws and destroys false religion. If that were true, why would God be compelled to intervene to prevent the extinction of mankind? It doesn't make any sense. Given that all the nuclear-armed nations are being irresistibly drawn into an open conflict it seems like a foregone conclusion that the great tribulation will involve nuclear weapons.

“Also, there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of nations not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and its agitation. People will become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken."

Luke 21:25,26

"Keep close in mind the presence of the day of Jehovah, through which the heavens will be destroyed in flames and the elements will melt in the intense heat!"
- 2 Peter 3:12

"And I will give wonders in the heavens and on the earth,
Blood and fire and columns of smoke.
The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood
Before the coming of the great and awe-inspiring day of Jehovah.
And everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved;
For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape,

just as Jehovah has said, the survivors whom Jehovah calls."

Joel 2:30,31

Nope. The eighth king is post-tribulation. If you notice, whenever the WT claims that the tribulation begins when the beast turns upon the harlot they might cite a verse in Revelation but it never supports their assertion that it is the tribulation.
I am confused...If the eight king (NWO) starts it's one hour rule after the great tribulation...why would Jehovah cut the days short just to turn us over to the eighth king?

Because the choice between human rulership (with Satan at the helm) and God’s Kingdom will be very clear and only those with strong faith will be able to resist making the wrong choice. Plus if you notice, he cuts it short because of the holy ones and that is so that once they are sealed they will prophesy in sackcloth for 3 1/2 years.

Matthew 24:22: “In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.

Revelation 11:1-4: “And a reed like a rod was given to me as he said: “Get up and measure the temple sanctuary of God and the altar and those worshipping in it. But as for the courtyard that is outside the temple sanctuary, leave it out and do not measure it, because it has been given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city underfoot for 42 months. I will cause my two witnesses to prophesy for 1,260 days dressed in sackcloth.” These are symbolized by the two olive trees and the two lampstands and are standing before the Lord of the earth.”

Maybe my faith is little. But I really don’t want to be alive when all nuclear exchange explode. After university, I went around central london looking for bunkers 😂😂. I discovered that the archbishop of Canterbury place is 10mins away from my place and apparently there’s a bunker somewhere there, according to the old man that give me this information. Maybe am going crazy. I need to stop watching those prepping channels.
Just remember that it isn’t by our own resourcefulness that we will survive but by faith in Jehovah.

Jah cuts those days short on account of the chosen ones, because they have a job to do. It's a temp gig but it's important. The tribulation, as I understand it, is the transitional phase between this current world and Satan's final earthly Government where God humbles and humiliates his people. The NWO, the Great Reset, it's all leading to the same end goal. Total world domination. Furthermore, this is also when the 42 months begins. Once the 8th king is ruling that's when the final clock starts ticking to Armageddon. Additionally, God cutting the tribulation short protects his earthly people too. This suggests that the 8th King will somehow restore some false sense of order from the ashes of the great tribulation. That's when this image comes to life. But by this point everybody's allegiance will be clearly established. None of God's people will be overcome with fear anymore. Even before the 8th king is destroyed. It will be as if it has already fallen.

But it says unless the days are cut short NO FLESH WILL SURVIVE. SO to me it sounds like something catastrophic is going to happen and unless jehovah steps in we will all be destroyed

Yes that is true and very sobering to consider. And yet the reason he cuts it short isn’t because it could mean the end of all flesh, but he says it is because of the chosen ones. They have the same work to do that Jesus did, preach for 3 1/2 years. No doubt we will witness Jehovah’s mercy during that time. I’m guessing that towards the end of that period it will turn into a pronouncement of judgment for 5 months.

Revelation 9:10: “Also, they have tails with stingers like scorpions, and in their tails is their authority to hurt the people for five months”.

I hope to develop this idea more in future articles on e-watchman, but others have expressed it well. We need to appreciate that the WT's view is askew. JW's imagine that Jehovah is just going to blow his top and start slaughtering everyone. That is not going to happen. The hour of judgment must surely coincide with the one hour of the eighth king. If it is apparent that God intervened to save mankind from Satan's intended nuclear holocaust why would anyone doubt God's existence or his ability to provide salvation? But most of humanity will choose to submit themselves to the beast and be judged unworthy of life. But at least everyone will have been given a choice.
