I would hardly call receiving the mark a “perceived mistake”. But hey, what do I know? Tony Morris has a very trustworthy newspaper from 1914 saying “This is it!” He knows, man. He knows.

Looking at the recent article that came out a few days ago called Psalms #7 – I will sing praises to the name of Jehovah, it's quite obvious that most people would be eager to take the mark in pure spiteful defiance. As it is stated:

Let’s be honest. Deep down most people hate God. Atheists hate God more than anyone. They hate him so much they pretend he doesn’t exist. Most Christians hate God too. They pretend Jehovah doesn’t exist. They have erased his name from the Bible and only speak of Jesus. So, the prayer of David calls upon Jehovah God—the hated One—to bring an end to Satan’s wicked world:

“Please put an end to the evil deeds of the wicked. But establish the righteous, since you are the righteous God who examines the hearts and the deepest emotions.” — Psalms 7:9

I just read Psalms 53 today & it really paints how the last days would be. David was certainly giving insight even if he wasn't aware of the reaching implications.

Won’t Jesus know by now? Of course he wouldn’t have known when he was human and still had to be tested until his death. But I think Jehovah has informed him after his return to heaven.

I agree with that. (For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.Matthew 24:37‭-‬39)
And I believe that God will make aware his people what the sign will be. However, a lot of people are trying to guess what the mark is. A lot of catholic and eastern orthodox priests advise their populations that the mark of the beast are the microchips from id documents and recently they believe it's the vaccine so in some European countries the vaccination rate still under 50%. I believe there will likely be something to do with the true worship to Jehovah as in the case of Daniel's friends or as for people in revelation 13 who will refuse to worship the image of the beast. In what form the test will come it remains to be seen.

Those who take this in are obviously the ones Jah said would have their eyes pasted and ears stopped...How blessed are we? There is much speculation on what it will be. Like you, I believe we won't have to worry. It will be revealed to us like a ton of bricks falling on a duck. You will have no doubt when the time comes. That will be when courage is most needed.

If you consider Job the standard for doing good, maybe there IS nobody doing good. If not for Noah we would not even exist. I take from this psalm that Christ is the only way forward because all have sinned and all fall short.

Well many in the Org will end up like this. Considering Daniel 11:32, those who willingly betray the covenant will have their ears tickled & they'll take the mark without much objection. As for the world you see the disposition of the average joe & it shows.

The moment we relent from seeking the kingdom our strength is reduced and make us vulnerable to being deceived. It is either the mark of God or the mark of the beast because it can't be both and it can't be neither. If we are walking with the mark of God on our forehead, those demons will run for the hills. I feel the spirit of God building now and see more clearly why we must keep up on the watch. Prayers for strength to be sent to us all! We are learning endurance, because love is long suffering and kind.

WOW... Just wow... I just went to look up the scripture for long suffering and kind. Look at this:

Is there any question that there is an evil slave at the watch tower? How do you justify this change. And why no footnote? I posted before that it would be quite revealing to have a side by side comparison of 1984 to 2014. It would be telling, and would expose so much.

I prefer the 1984 version to the new one. I never seem to be able to find a single scripture. I always go back to the old one to search for things cause if I type in the words I think are in a scripture, the new version shows no results.

1 Tim 6:8 in Dutch in the old version says: If we have food, clothing and shelter, we will be content.
The new version says: If we have food and clothing, we will be content.

It now has a footnote that the ground word can both mean clothing and a roof over our head, but I prefer the old translation.

This is one I know from the top of my head. They simplified more which doesn’t reach the heart like the old translation did.

This is what psalm 53 means. No one could be considered righteous before God through the mosaic law. Everyone was a sinner before God. However, righteousness is credited trough faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe. First for the anointed and later for other sheep.

"Now to the one who works, the wages are not credited as a favor, but as what is due. But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness, just as David also speaks of the blessing of the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, And whose sins have been covered. “Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account.”

It is, of course, a bygone conclusion that people are changing for the worse. It has been an ongoing process really dating back to the First World War, which shattered the Victorian era of civility. Obviously, though, in recent years the process is accelerating. That is not to imply that the last days have already begun.

As I have pointed out many times, the prophecy that foretells that the last days will be critical times hard to deal with does not indicate that society will be gradually debased over the course of the last days. No. The last days will be hard to deal with because people will already have become lovers of themselves, self-assuming, headstrong, unthankful, and all the rest.

Trying their hand at foretelling the future, the Watchtower poses the question: "Will all human society ultimately descend into complete chaos?" They then provide their answer: "No. Human society will not break down completely. Instead, God will soon remove the people who are determined to violate his standards."

Jehovah's Witnesses have an old saying that prophecy cannot be completely understood until after it is fulfilled. That's probably true. However, the problem is that the WT has declared many prophecies to have been fulfilled already, thus effectively obscuring any expectation of any sort of future fulfillment. According to the teachings of the Watchtower virtually the entire book of Revelation has already been fulfilled, except for the destruction of Babylon the Great and Armageddon.

But that presents numerous insurmountable problems, assuming the GB actually had to coherently explain their teachings. Consider just one aspect. The opening of the sixth seal betokens the utter collapse of human society. In case you missed it according to the WT the 6th seal was opened more than a hundred years ago. That is just one example of the utter nonsense Jehovah's Witnesses are required to accept as the most nutritious spiritual food ever served.

The 13th chapter of Ezekiel proclaims woe for the stupid prophets who fabricate their own prophecies. Is that not exactly what the GB has down with their phony interpretations? And I got bad news for the GB. Jehovah is not going to bail them out by intervening to prevent human society from suffering a total collapse. Anyway, at least the coming crash of civilization will get everyone's attention and put the stupid prophets out of business.
