Will all human society ultimately descend into complete chaos?

The truth is, I can't justify our way of life. Sucking out all the oil from the ground and using it up. The pollution and material waste dumps is off the charts. Everything is temporary so the vehicles we have now won't last and will need to be replaced. There are sound arguments for wanting to stop ruining the earth.
In fact it isn't what they are saying. It is the world they want to implement to solve it. Depopulation and slavery.
They naysayers are having their reward now but the day is rapidly approaching when the warnings about this global slavery system won't be needed. They will have taken control. Inch by inch they take it.
At the same time the Kingdom will step in & the NWO/Beast will only be given "the one hour". The NWO may try to justify it's actions but the Kingdom will point out the flaws & condemn the Beast.

Especially if you need a truck since you do blue collar work.
The Ford dealer got some 2022 trucks in yesterday, they are over $70,000 now! All the trucks are 4 doors now so they are like SUV's with truck beds. But that was a standard F-150, if you need a 250 they are a lot lot more. Used trucks are a dealer at $50,000.

That's what I never understood about our system. The more expensive fuel gets and the less of it remains*, the bigger the vehicles get. You'd think they'd think of ways to do more with less, especially with what are considered "gas guzzlers".

*I don't subcribe to the "we're running out of oil" stuff but the rest of the world does so my comment stands.

P.S. those prices are insane.

I think that's why a lot of workers try to get used older models.

These newer F-150's have the 3.5 liter turbo V6 which is a really good motor great with fuel economy.

The last year or so they've been selling all the new inventory for several thousand dollars over invoice because of the lack of inventory due to the chip shortage, and all the used cars are way over list too!

I'm gonna buy a moped and build a chopper out of it. ( I stole that line)

View attachment 1642This week's JW.org banner snippet bears the headline: ARE PEOPLE CHANGING FOR THE WORSE?

It is, of course, a bygone conclusion that people are changing for the worse. It has been an ongoing process really dating back to the First World War, which shattered the Victorian era of civility. Obviously, though, in recent years the process is accelerating. That is not to imply that the last days have already begun.

As I have pointed out many times, the prophecy that foretells that the last days will be critical times hard to deal with does not indicate that society will be gradually debased over the course of the last days. No. The last days will be hard to deal with because people will already have become lovers of themselves, self-assuming, headstrong, unthankful, and all the rest.

Trying their hand at foretelling the future, the Watchtower poses the question: "Will all human society ultimately descend into complete chaos?" They then provide their answer: "No. Human society will not break down completely. Instead, God will soon remove the people who are determined to violate his standards."

Jehovah's Witnesses have an old saying that prophecy cannot be completely understood until after it is fulfilled. That's probably true. However, the problem is that the WT has declared many prophecies to have been fulfilled already, thus effectively obscuring any expectation of any sort of future fulfillment. According to the teachings of the Watchtower virtually the entire book of Revelation has already been fulfilled, except for the destruction of Babylon the Great and Armageddon.

But that presents numerous insurmountable problems, assuming the GB actually had to coherently explain their teachings. Consider just one aspect. The opening of the sixth seal betokens the utter collapse of human society. In case you missed it according to the WT the 6th seal was opened more than a hundred years ago. That is just one example of the utter nonsense Jehovah's Witnesses are required to accept as the most nutritious spiritual food ever served.

The 13th chapter of Ezekiel proclaims woe for the stupid prophets who fabricate their own prophecies. Is that not exactly what the GB has down with their phony interpretations? And I got bad news for the GB. Jehovah is not going to bail them out by intervening to prevent human society from suffering a total collapse. Anyway, at least the coming crash of civilization will get everyone's attention and put the stupid prophets out of business.

I messaged Brother Carl and asked him to reconsider but got no response so he's gone. He'll probably drop in some time in the future. I have a pretty good idea why Driven left but I best not say. I have a feeling one day she'll return as well. Her husband Meditator is still on and will give the occasional comment so that's a plus.
Since you’re bringing up former members missing, does anyone know what happened to Barnaby the Dog? I sure miss his insightful and heartfelt comments as well.

He seems to be on & off here. It seems that many of the members might be waiting for the heat to cool. Hopefully they keep up on the daily text w/ the articles & the updates on the main site.

I had also been wondering whatever happened to 4JahandChrist ….seems like he just disappeared. I miss many of his comments too as well as his unique sense of humor.
He said once that he doesn't have a steady internet connection and that he comes around every once in a while. It's been a while though. Same with Barnaby, I asked Mick and it seems he's taking a little break.

Thanks for that update. What do it mean to ‘come around‘? Don’t others from his area that are on here not have that problem? That’s such a shame. Barnaby has that same problem? He was always on here consistently and now they have this issue. 🤔

From my read...he tries to stay off the grid. When he gets in a position to use the internet he takes advantage. He's a wild Aussie, what can I say. :) I can't speak for BtD but I think he's taking a break. I took a break a month ago for about a month, myself.
