Analysts like Paul Roberts only look at the physical. They do not take into consideration one of Jesus' key teachings, that Satan is the ruler of the world. Also, consider that Jesus taught that Satan is the father of the lie and a manslayer, a murderer. So, we have a lying, murdering, super-intelligent spirit god running things, a wicked master puppeteer pulling all the strings, who is opposed to Christ taking control of the world and ending his evil reign. We also have what is called the Revelation of Things to Come, which reveals that when Satan is dethroned from heaven, he and his wicked angels will go on a rampage. Of course they will induce men to launch their nuclear weapons. That is why they inspired foolish men to build their fiendish weapons in the first place. Ultimately, they will lure the kings of the earth into a war with God Almighty at a place called Armageddon. I can hear the frogs a croak'n in the distance.
