Dogs

Translation: Something Chihuahua has, we don't know what mixture it is. What we do know is that if they have them down, it's Mogwai and if they're up, it's Stripe. 🤣 But he does have that look like he looks at you a lot sideways, like Chihuahua.

This was posted in the Spring, I'm a little late to the doggy party but dogs do have a fifth "toe" on their hind legs it just high up and called a dewclaw.
Oh really! I was thinking today that throughput Steve and my years together we had 6 dogs. Except f one of them I thought they were all great dogs! They had their own distinct personalities.…friendly, playful, guarded the kids and when strangers came around.

she looks so cute.
I love this dog! She had it rough during her first few years of life, living in a small crate popping out pups. When I got her the vet said she was so over breed that if she had kept feeding her pups it would have killed her. I had to potty train her, which sucked because she was so attached to me. I had her sleep next to me on a towel, she’s good now thankfully. It was awesome seeing her learn how to have fun outside… she loves lying in the grass. I got her heathy by feeding her pumpkin, rice, chicken thighs, peas, potatoes, carrots and beets… plus some supplements. I plan my daily routine around her.

For the end result it is worth it.
She looks very happy and healthy and the time you spent helping her has no doubt restored her confidence to play outdoors.

Dog Language

Every dog, everywhere, understand each other. They don't discriminate on the basis of race, breed or color. Be they christian, Jew, or other. They are born instinctively endowed by their creator with god given traits, life, liberty and the pursuit of happyness...and dog language. It's subtle, but once you learn how to read their signs, its unmistakable.
Internationally acclaimed dog whisperer, Turid Rugaas, explains:

In fact dogs can become so frustrated when not understood, that they can become aggressive or depressed ...

I did my dog psychology . I used Turid Rugas as a reference quite a few times , as whatever you put down , you have to back up . Her book about dog body language , is about the best book I have as yet come across . I also have one or two of her D.V.D.s Another good dog psychologist is Suzanne Clothier . He dealing with fearful dogs is also very good . And Caesar Milan .... Well , his dogs are very good , while he is not , although he has saved a lot of dogs from being put down , so I will not say anything bad . Dog psychology , and horse psychology is also very similar . And yes , I am a boring person . I go out watching dogs and their behaviour . That is how boring I am .

Is it a Pitty , or a American Bulldog ? Last year , I was in the town with my Irish Staffy , and an American Bulldog , and a Staffie cross Boxer , that looked just like an American Bulldog . All three sitting and licking one another`s faces . Such dangerous dogs . View attachment 6107
Have you ever noticed, though, that dogs often follow their owner's personality? That would mean that some are dangerous...just like their owners.

Years ago there was a neighbor a couple of houses down from me who had a couple of rottweilers. They were supposed to be dangerous dogs but every time I walked by, in spite of their barking and snarling, I would approach the fence and they would come up to me and quiet down. I got to know them and they were the sweetest dogs you could imagine. Occasionally I would bring them a bit of food and that's probably why they got to like me. :)

I'm just glad we humans don't greet each other like dogs do
Dogs have over thirty ways to say friend . When they greet you in the morning , it will normally be with a Yawn , then a stretch . Two huge ways to almost scream that they are your friends . They will wink and blink , flick their tongue , and sniff the ground . All ways to say friend . Humans will say friend , all the while , they are plotting and scheming your demise .

Yes . I always say that the wrong end of the leash is always blamed for a dangerous dog . During hurricane Katrina , many dogs all took to the streets . No fights , and a wee dog may be the leader of the pack . Dogs follow the most stable leaders , and everything is for the greater good . Humans will follow the least stable leaders . The bigger the sociopath , the more of a following they will get , and that was also warned about when the children of Israel asked for a king .
