EUROPE IMMINENT COLLAPSE

Cherry said that nothing like this has happened before, ie; it's a one off. It is not normal. Recall Jesus said a similar thing.
something about a one off. "It has not happened nor will happen again"? This mighty military force is the agency that Jehovah will use to discipline his people in the near future. What do you think?
Also the description of them being “like” humans and acting “like” human counterparts to me sound like humans controlling drones or robots. So, they behave like humans but they are more regimented and unstoppable like Joel describes.

like military operations more and more rely on drones or drone like machinery or robots rather than people.

There you go. Up the wall and in through the windows. Also this military force does not give a kaka who in it's ranks
falls down? If you get time maybe you can read Joel 1:2 - 7, see if you can hear what Jehovah is saying in those first few verse? You can read the whole chapter or not? but just ch 1 Let the bible speak first, and then see if it lines up with your view?

Exactly. And the military drones can shoot bullets.

I’ve read and reread all 3 chapters of Joel. Still meditating. But i also realize it will all be fulfilled in the way Jehovah decrees and I’m just speculating.

I also find it interesting how Joel says in reference to this unique army that the “land ahead of it is like the garden of Eden, But behind it is a desolate waste”. Ezekiel also describes the “Assyrian” as the most beautiful in the “garden of God” and among the “other trees of Eden”. Not sure if there is a connection but Eden is not used a lot in the Bible, only occurring 19 times and most of that is literal Eden or a Bible character with that name.

I agree that Joel 2 is referring to the final manifestation of the King of the North aka the northerner. But what I am just now “computing” is the fact that in chapter 2 it describes an ”army” that perhaps is not a human army because of the description, such as its being unique, “Never before has there been one like it, And never again will there be another Through the years of all generations“. Nothing escapes from it. It has the appearance of horses and runs “like” warhorses. It has a sound “like” chariots as they leap on the mountaintops and it also sounds “like” the crackling of blazing fire. It is described as being “like” a mighty people but it is not outright called mighty people. This army charges “like” warriors, they scale a wall ”like” soldiers and they stay their course without swerving. They don’t shove one another and if they fall from “weapons” the others do not break ranks. In human terms do you know any soldier who doesn’t stop to render aid to a fallen fellow soldier? They are also described as rushing into the city and running on the wall, climbing onto houses, through windows like a thief. “Before them the land trembles and the heavens rock”. Then the chapter talks about Jehovah imploring his people to return to him and he will bless them and he will drive the northerner away from them. Anyway, I am just now really focusing in on this particular chapter and the way it is worded.
that’s really interesting Driven, and i’m on to it. Yes, perhaps this isn’t a human army- that makes some good sense.

I’m going to pray for understanding, and then read it again with your posit in mind.

The words in Joel 1:2-7 tells us in graphic detail that there are locust and that they devastate what belongs to Jehovah. Jehovah's property is "my land" vs 6, "my vine", "my fig tree" vs 7. In verse 6 Jehovah likens the "locusts" to "a nation"
Could the descriptions be symbolic of something else? These locusts or "a nation" have come up into Jehovah's "land" and has devastated his "vine" and "fig tree". What could Jehovah's "land" "vine" and "fig tree" be symbolizing?

You are correct regarding Chapter 1 but take a look at Chapter 3, which talks of the Valley of Jehoshaphat where Jehovah judges ALL the nations and rescues his repentant people. So, it starts by describing the desolation of the preaching or ingathering of the crop and ends with Jehovah’s judgment on the nations. What is in between? Perhaps the Great Tribulation or the actual judgement with the house of God or both. Just because there is a judgement on God’s people does not mean that other non-worshippers are not also devastated at the same time. Recall Nebuchadnezzar and his destruction of Jerusalem. He had also attacked the surrounding nations. He didn’t start and probably didn’t end with Jerusalem. It’s still confusing for me but I am just asking and noticing.

Although each 3 chapters of Joel are inter-related they each tell their own story Basically it is a run down of what will take place in the "Last Days" which are not quite here or are they"? Ch 1:2-7 are not about literal locusts, land, vines and fig trees. Jehovah from Joel 1:8 onward gets specific. You probably guessed that he is not talking about literal food stuffs and live stock farmers etc?

Anyway moving on to Ch 3, which is interrelated with the first two. 3:2 is about the valley of Hinom which refers to Armageddon as you probably already know? but "whats in between"? ( I would say before ) is back in the other 2 chapters. Maybe you also know that Joel does not mention the Babylonians, not even once. Anyway chapter 3, by the looks is a summary that includes Armageddon and the aftermath and the lead up to, and the New Earth? Pay attention to Joel 3:17 and see if the "Jerusalem" mentioned there is referring to literal Jerusalem or spiritual Jerusalem? That will help us know that Joel maybe was not referring to the literal Babylonians?

I’m not sure if you misunderstood my post. I do realize that Joel was not referring to literal Babylonians.

I posted somewhere around that Joel 1:2-7 is about locusts devastating what belongs to Jehovah, It seems obvious that the locusts aren't literal and neither is the real estate and the produce. It is really the military force (locusts) up against Jehovah's people (land, vine, fig tree) first. Verse 2 Jehovah says listen up you Elders, G/B, W/T? It seems the message is for the nations too? Or it could be referring to the rest of the congregation? "...Has anything like this happened in your days Or in the days of your forefathers"? Vs 2. The G/T aka trampling on spiritual Jerusalem? vs 4-7.

Because of the G/T the preaching work comes to a stop. "Wail as a virgin wearing sackcloth does for the bridegroom of her youth." vs 8 The anointed discarding their wedding gown for sackcloth, why? Because they are being punished. Due to the W/T going down the flock is scattered and wandering about because their spiritual food has dried up. Why? there is no-one to give them their food at the proper time. vs 9-20 all of this happens when the G/T hits. Chapter 2 continues this theme. Joel 1:15 and 2:1 alerts us that Armageddon is near. I'll leave it there for now, What do you think?

It certainly is an interesting chapter and I can honestly say that I have no idea what it may refer to. History does have examples though of soldiers leaving those wounded untended. In the First World War soldiers were actually ordered not to give aid to the wounded during the opening battle of the Somme (July 1st 1916), but to carry on the advance. There were certainly many other times and it was the norm, rather than the exception. The wounded were often left out for days, their pleas for water and aid, tearing the heart out of those in the trenches that had to listen. On many occasions, a German officer would actually come over to the British trenches under flag of truce to give amnesty to the stretcher bearers to collect their wounded simply because they could not bear the cries for help any longer. It’s idle to speculate I suppose, but the hope of any earthly army fulfilling the prophesy at the present time is China or NATO. Many of the member states of NATO have given ultimate command of their forces to the European Community (Brussels), including Britain, France and Germany, and could numerically equal China’s army - but not in resolve. Even so, it is doubtful that they could fulfil the prophesy you cite. Chinese soldiers could not, and certainly they would not, go back for anyone, wounded or not. In the desperate times to come, we can all count on one aspect of human nature and that is that there are no depths to which the human being cannot sink to in terms of heartlessness and self preservation. China, I have no doubt, would order its entire population of one and a quarter billion to take up arms, and they would too! If Joel is describing a human army in his prophesy, China may be a contender. Doubtless Russia would ally with them.

I think you may well have a point!

@Driven

I read Joel a couple times- had to get it firmly in my head.

I found Joel 2v11 very interesting :

Jehovah will raise his voice before his army, for his camp is very numerous. For the one carrying out His word is mighty; for the day of Jehovah is great and very awe-inspiring. Who can endure it?”

Jehovah commands this northern army, like a marionette (if you will), it doing whatever He commands whenever and however He commands.

This would very well include any army of spirit beings as well as human beings- but as you mentioned, it IS a very VERY unique army, effective; successfully carries through every command from Jehovah, regardless of obstacle, because Jehovah himself commands it.

Then after Jehovah is done with them he "...will drive them away..." Joel 2:20

Then after Jehovah is done with them he "...will drive them away..." Joel 2:20
that’s exactly right. This army is completely at his disposal and behest.

The irony is that Jehovah is allowing it/them to have its/their heart’s desire and to carry out what’s in its heart.

It demonstrates the perfect justice and wisdom of Jehovah.

It’s really incredible when you meditate on it.

I agree with you, but at this point, I think there is more involved. This is the end of the elite that has dominated up to this point. Russia and the BRICS are showing that they have lost their fear of the ruling caste. They are making a power struggle, and this time the elite is going to lose it. We are witnessing the war between globalists and patriots. He who is not able to see how patriotism is being exalted at the moment is that he is blind.

It is not just an economic issue. The elite not only want to continue with power and wealth, but they have also set out to drastically reduce the world's population, by implementing their satanic 2030 agenda. What they are doing is plain to see. Let's remember what Jesus said, "unless the days are shortened, no one will be saved." The global patriotic alliance that is being created with Russia and China at the head will stop their plans. Of course, Christ is in control.
Ejoyed you observations. The globalist elite plan will succeed until the disgusting stands in the holy place. That = 66CE. (Rev 17:12-14) The patriot movement you speak about will crest at that point and repell the globalist for a time. But the globalist will come back and be used by God to destroy Babylon the Great. That = 70 CE. (Rev 17:15-17) As far as I can tell
