they got smart to it I’m assuming- because they fly just out of range. Just enough to taunt you.When I was a boy in Arkansas, my dad had me and brother go up to our neighbor’s crop field. Too big to call a garden. He shared corn, beans and melon with us so dad wanted us to try to deal with the crows eating the corn. They saw us before we even got close. Evidently they already knew what shotguns looked like.
