Someone else had replied:The problem is that the WT has already demonstrated they have sold out to the empire. When the "brotherhood" is finally given the long-awaited "life-saving instructions" by the "faithful slave" to go report to a government re-education camp, we are talking Jonestown, as in Jim Jones and the cyanide koolaid.
Why not? Jehovah gave His people the chance to live in Babylon or death in the doomed city.
Likening the Great Tribulation to the recipients of an artillery attack, one place to be is probably as good as any other.
Let Jehovah position us where He will as we never know how or where He’ll use us.
“ If anyone is destined for captivity, he will go into captivity” Rev13:10
This is a good point and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, Robert, since in your book you mention how the image in the book of Daniel that the three Hebrews didn't bow down to and so they were thrown into the fiery furnace and saved by Michael foreshadows the image that true Christians won't bow down to and so Michael will stand up for his people then. That was a sort of "captivity"
I would love to know if you've written a commentary of Ezekiel 38 because might these FEMA camps be what is described by Ezekiel 38: 8-12
8 “‘“You will be given attention* after many days. In the final part of the years you will invade the land whose people have been restored from the ravages of the sword, collected together out of many peoples onto the mountains of Israel, which had long been lying devastated. The inhabitants of this land were restored from the peoples, and all of them dwell in security 9 You will come against them like a storm, and you will cover the land like clouds, you and all your troops and many peoples with you.”’10 “This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says: ‘In that day thoughts will come into your heart, and you will devise an evil plan. 11 You will say: “I will invade the land of unprotected settlements.*j I will come against those living in security, without disturbance, all of them living in settlements unprotected by walls, bars, or gates.” 12 It will be to take much spoil and plunder, to attack the devastated places that are now inhabited and a people regathered from the nations, who are accumulating wealth and property, those who are living in the center of the earth.
And, if you don't think that we should follow the bad advice and go to the FEMA camps, then what do you think the scriptures will direct us to do as an alternative? Thanks
