Do you receive revelation on a daily basis or does it come infrequently? The answer to this question may determine whether you have the lone anointing of a watchman or another anointing.

There is a lot of confusion about who and what is a watchman. Many prophetic people erroneously claim Ezekiel 3:17, Ezekiel’s call to be a watchman, as their verse of calling when actually it is not their call at all. They may operate in the gifts of the spirit, 1 Cor: 12, or they may be called in other areas of the prophetic realm or even to be a prophet but not all prophetic people are watchmen.

If someone feels strongly that they are a watchman, they may very well be one, but simply being prophetic doesn’t make us a watchman. The call to be a watchman is not automatically included in all prophetic calls. Ezekiel was first called to be a prophet. His call to be a watchman was in
addition to his prophetic calling. There is nothing special or super spiritual about being a watchman; it is simply a separate and distinct call.

There are many prophets intercessors and prophetic people who, like Ezekiel, are watchmen as well as prophets or intercessors. But not all are both. There are those whose only call is to be a watchman and nothing more, these are usually not very well known because they may not have any other function. Watchmen usually operate in tandem with intercessors but may or may not be an intercessor.

The most discernible difference in a person who is a watchman and one who moves in the spiritual gifts is that those operating in the gifts usually can and do move frequently in their gifts, words of knowledge, words of wisdom etc. Where as a watchman may receive revelation of tremendous value and in large quantity but may do so only once or twice in a year. These are truly watchmen on the wall. Not better than, nor less than other prophetic callings, just distinct in their difference.

The real everyday life of a watchman on the wall in ancient times was not all that glamorous. They spent days on end without seeing anything of significance maybe even weeks or months might go by before they spotted any thing to report. But a good watchman was always on the lookout, never tiring or moving his steady gaze from the horizon just in case something or someone came into view.

It is still the same today. A spiritual watchman is always watching and listening in the spiritual realm. He may hear the word of the Lord or receive revelation or foresight into coming events that is very important. When this happens he must report this to the proper authorities. Then his job is done. Like his ancient predecessors, he doesn’t have the authority to call out the army or close the gates he simply reports what he sees to the elders or leaders. Then it becomes their responsibility to take the proper action

After he has done this he may go for many days, weeks or months before he sees anything to report again. During this time many will persistently ask “Has the Lord shown you anything?” or ” What’s God showing you now?” A mature watchman who has no present revelation will say “Nothing at this time” Those less mature may try to search out something and report erroneously. This can cause trouble in the camp.

The point is that with a watchman the revelation comes at the proper time and as God wills. If the watchman has other gifts such as gift of knowledge, he may be able to find a word from the Lord for an individual or group but he cannot use his watchman’s anointing for this because he can only report what is approaching on the horizon. A
prophet though, may often give a prophetic watchman’s report and then move into the gifts of the spirit with out anyone realizing he has left one anointing and passed to another.

The watchman’s revelation and subsequent report is vital to everyone. But revelations usually come to watchmen mush less frequently than it does to other revelatory people.

If you receive infrequent yet pertinent revelation chances are you are moving in a watchman’s anointing. If you don’t receive any other word for a while don’t despair. God has not forgotten you. There simply is not anything of significance moving on the horizon in your section of the watch area. God is faithful and will give revelation and direction in the proper order and at the proper time.

If you don’t receive this kind of revelation, don’t worry, just move in the gifts that you have but understand that you may not be a watchman. Not everyone is. Not every one is called to be a watchman, only those God so desires. What’s important is for all Christians to seek a more intimate relationship with our Creator and use the revelation He gives as our own gifting and calling allows.

So if there was no JW.ORG how would people know about the true God and his purposes.

The Bible itself is the Word of God and it explains these things.

As of March 2, 2020, the Watch Tower Society has published 220 million copies of the New World Translation.

It was first published in 1950 and has averaged out at 3m copies a year over the 72 years that they have been producing Bibles. A sign of Gods blessing?

So here’s a situation that shows how Jah can even use the stones to cry out but does not need to.

In China the Org say we are banned but China has emerged as a country truly seeking to know God but with JW.Org not making plans to go there what could be done.

The people of China were not allowed to own a Christian Bible thirty years ago, but now China is the world's biggest producer of Bibles. The ancient capital of Nanjing is rapidly becoming the centre of the world for Bible printing. Huge factories have taken on the task of supplying Bibles in this country where Christianity was once banned. The demand for the Bibles continues to grow, both domestically and for export around the world. The presses in China produce a variety of Bibles, from a convenient pocket size to full sized table volumes. Source: ChristianToday.com

Please read the following links carefully ;

1. https://www.ubscp.org/200-million-bibles-printed-in-china/

They printed their first Bible in 1987 and this report was in 2019 so they are producing for free an average of 6,250,000 Bibles each year in the mere 32 years they have been operating.

2. https://www.ubscp.org/the-unstoppable-word-of-god/ Be sure to watch the video and NOTE that because they cannot preach or proselytize;

QUOTE; “Very often, after a person came to faith in Christ, he or she would begin to share his or her faith with family, friends and neighbours. And they would gather at homes to pray, sing hymns and read or listen to the Word of God.”

The man refers to Acts 12.24

24 But the word of Jehovah went on growing and spreading. He also says;
God has taken our offering of five barley loaves and two small fish, blessed and multiplied them to feed the multitudes in China and all around the world.

3. https://www.ubscp.org/launch-chinese-studybible/

Nowhere is too restricted for Jehovah to reach those who are seeking him.

China may not have Watchtower or a Governing Body to feed them and are not able to preach publicly due to the Superior Authorities but they are not beyond Jah's reach, his Word is all they need and they are being added to at a phenomenal rate albeit at times where only 2/3 gather together.. all this without ‘organised preaching’ and under severe restrictions.
👍I donated $26 to bibles for China last year

Watchmen in the past concerned themselves with current events of their day, such as the military movements of Assyria or Babylon and the corruption of the religious leaders.
Watchmen in the past had received the word from Jehovah (Ezekiel 3:17; 33:1,2; Isaiah 21:6). They didn't analyze current geo-political affairs nor have they used any other authorities' writings. In this way they hadn't opened themselves for critique as you did. You were so eager to be the watchman that you ran ahead of yourself and carelessly made predictions which hadn't come true. This makes you no different than WT.

Actually, Habakkuk was stationed on the watchtower and waited to see what developed and how God might reprove him.

I personally do not really care. All i care about is the truth. But your history speaks for itself.

Hey Friend, Here’s the thing. If you apply your standards to Peter, who publicly denied Jesus 3 times including denying being his follower, then your standards would condemn him too and he is an apostle with no doubt. It really shows us what it means to be meek while still boldly proclaiming the truth from God’s word. WE ALL have to be corrected at one time or another. I have to admit that I was convinced of things based on scripture but had to admit that my understanding needed correcting.

And, what about Paul? He approved of the stoning of Stephen. Something certainly more serious that the accusations you make against Brother Robert King. I saw you when you first appeared on the forum with your avatar of a mullet haircut, a tatoo and wearing an american flag.

Well, Jesus did say at John 13:35: “By this all will know that you are my disciples—if you have love among yourselves.”

How far back did you go? How many years? Perhaps you can find something he did in Kindergarten and slander him with that. To dredge up old accusations is not loving and you sir are an accuser of others when you need to look in the mirror. But you want all your history kept hidden while Robert King exposed himself, willingly, to all who will listen. Wow!! Really?!! At least now we know enough about you.

Of course, being imperfect and falling short of glory of God we all have to continually be corrected and reproved. Peter and Paul's example show how they have changed after. Robert's example doesn't. Being meek doesn't mean insulting and belittling others who might disagree. I really, honestly, wish he takes some time to reflect on this if he wants to be an example to others. I'm sick of seeing good people being stumbled.
As for me, I haven't gone ahead and proclaimed to have any unique insights nor have I claimed I was chosen, so your argument doesn't apply. I am aware of my shortcomings and I beg Jehovah to help me. He knows what a sorry mess I am. But I am free to question and to make sure of things, and that is what brought me to e-watchman in the first place. As for my avatar, maybe you're taking it too seriously? I just found it funny but if it offends you I can remove it.

And that is somehow wrong? Each of those sources have elements of truth which Robert grabs from and presents them nicely. Your words are just your spin. Spin spin spin. Everyone is a spinner these days. "and in the last days, spinners will come with their spin and use particularly negative words to describe the direction their frisbies of spin will go in." 1 Medi-tator 3:5
That’s right Medi-tator…For every spin…sock it to him…”sock it to ’em, sock it to ‘em, sock it to ‘em!” 😆
You remember that?

Meanwhile, 1 Medi-tator 3:5 🤔

Revelation 19:10 states that "the witness concerning Jesus is what inspires prophecy." Jehovah's Witnesses have been "inspired" to publicly preach and teach the truth concerning Jesus, as regards his relationship with Jehovah, the ransom his death paid, his being the mediator of a new covenant and his becoming King and ruling the earth for 1,000 years. In His wisdom, though, Jehovah chose to conceal the timing and nature of Christ's return and parousia. That is what the operation of Satan accomplishes. What has been revealed to me through no real effort on my part, at least that I am aware of, is that Christ has not returned in any way. His Kingdom has not begun ruling. Satan and his angels have not been hurled down from heaven and Jesus is surely not invisibly present. What has inspired me to delve into prophecy is the knowledge that the parousia will be visible to the chosen ones. I think that is a pretty big deal.

No one person can own or represent the name of Jehovah. He is perfect. Therefore one is either given entitlement that the name carries, at the cost of their life if they abuse it, or they take it upon themselves and do with it what they will and pay the price accordingly as individuals. The use of Jehovah’s name then carries with it a penalty that cannot but draw upon the user a price to pay for it, either good, or bad - just as the bible notes in so many examples. People are drawn out by their own desires. The same is true of His witnesses. Everyone here at one time thought themselves honoured to carry the name and certainly, everyone here regrets that their association with the organisation has sullied their intent. That is a realisation - an awakening to which we come to understand that fact, and the merciful opportunity to bring ourselves under that understanding. Jehovah has always had a people for His name from the moment he cursed the earth in Eden to bring forth thorns and weeds. Christ gave everyone the opportunity to understand that when at Mathew 6 he told his followers to address Jehovah in prayer as “father”. Throughout history, man has passed his name on to his son. How can you imply that no one should seek to own the name of his father?

The majority of the witnesses are only too willing to carry the name and assume it upon themselves as His representatives - not for fame or any other reason than that they want to imitate His concern for us. Regardless of Rutherford - who can truthfully say what his motive was? - the majority of witnesses are sincere and would have embraced his name even if Rutherford had never uttered it. It is what we are. Jehovah marked us that way and singled us out in that way so that we are known by that name. Jehovah wants the significance of the name made known, not only for the beauty of it, but also for the abuse of it. It’s plain. “They will have to know that I am Jehovah!” That surely has meaning for both good and bad. It must follow then, that both sides of the coin will be explicitly made clear. Not just because it is a name, but because of what it entails in its outcome and recognition. Rutherford did not have a choice. We were Jehovah‘s witnesses when we were Israelites. We were witnesses to the name to pharaoh in Egypt, at the flood, at Babylon, at Jerusalem and during the Dark Ages and we will be again a witness to His name hopefully in the near future. You have to look at the context Joe. This did not begin 80 years or so ago, but 6,000 years ago. And it’s happening now. It was always about an identifiable loyalty to Jehovah.

You confuse false prophesy with reasoning. The time for accounting is not yet here. What is appreciated is sincerity and the reasoning that goes with it. In the interim, we appreciate that depth in reasoning and context is a valuable aid to learning. The greater the reasoning, the more options there are to following the right pathway. It is far more effective than slandering and slamming doors against ourselves.
Can I offer a simple perspective, after all I'm a simpleton. The Bible students studied alot and got many answers right, but in the end they failed the exam. And the their is no way on this planet they were inspired.
