I was thinking we will just attend via Zoom once again. If they give me any push back I am going to tell them that I know for a fact the Covid vaccine is not only not safe and effective, but dangerous, so since no one in my family is vaccinated, I will not be exposing my family to a room full of hundreds of vaccine infected people! People who chose to infect themselves, no less!

Maybe I'll take it one further even, and say, "it's hard to avoid vaccinated infected people because it's not possible to know who all the infected with a vaccine are, but since I know all most if not all JW's are vaccinated infected, we will not be attending!

I just want to say Nomex, you don’t have to worry about getting infected unless you take the vax, which of course we know you’re not. But I understand you attending via Zoom. I’ll probably attend via zoom too.

AH...I just thought of this too. I'll do something my family is famous for, act like I'm going along to get them to incriminate themselves, and ask, "what percentage of the brothers do you think are vaccinated?" He'll naturally assume the opposite of why I'm asking then I'll drop the bombshell on him. And then I'll tell him at least two decades before Covid, my family and I had researched the very real danger from vaccines and the fact that even the FDA approved vaccines have caused severe damages including death like all drugs, and more than a billion dollars have been paid out for vaccine injuries and death since the 1990's so my family have chosen not to vaccinate.

My research also has born out that vaccinated people can infect unvaccinated people with what they have been vaccinated with, just like the infection that infects people! So we will not be attending in person meetings possibly ever! The GB should have remained neutral like they have in the past!!

Shedding is literally the same thing as the supposed infection that a virus causes, it's just another name for it. These idiots don't know the difference, or why they believe it, or what ever they believe. If they find out they violated someones conscience but they don't understand why, even better. Then they can't use their self righteous reasoning to try to justify their self righteousness. They'll be too preoccupied trying to figure out what I'm talking about! LOL! Which they will never figure out because they aren't smart enough.

Well, I don’t know for sure about what “shedding” this virus is all about but it doesn’t bother me to be around people who’ve been vaxxed. I haven’t had a problem with that and I’ve been around a few for a long period of time.
Although, I can appreciate your explanation Nomex, I‘m just not going to the Kingdom Hall for other personal reasons.

You did some great research Nomex! Thumbs up 👍🏼 But suffice to say how your family will receive this…they probably won’t think think this so great. Your family meaning your brother, right?

Just consider this, most people have been injected for something, so if person A has the same infection as person B it may be because they may have been injected with the same ingredients to cause whatever sickness they seem to have “transmitted.” That’s as much as I’m going to say about that except why is it no one ever takes the Creator of our human bodies into consideration? Think about it…
So, my response to your comment above is let’s just agree to disagree.

About the cards not good idea, imo. They don't care what we think especially when we are MIA. Just more ammo to demonize you especially regarding Robert's site. Not the night to do that.

Perhaps another more discreet way. There WILL BE a local needs on ....

You will be contacted in some form with what you did on this special occasion. Just my unsolicited opinions.

Best to you.

Can you clarify about that announcement? There was never a requirement for any public meeting....so I am confused about the word 'now' ???
A B, are you an elder? If so were you required to take the vax to attend elders school?

Susan B (formerly known as Driven) and I are going to attend this year's memorial at the Kingdom Hall in person. Because we ceased attending meetings (both live and memorex) over a year ago, we know we will be getting questions as to what we are doing and where we have been. So as to not detract from the beauty of attending the memorial, we are thinking about creating some cards (like business cards) to pass out to those who ask us questions. The cards will of course have our contact info but we also want to insert a little message on the back side, whether it be a scripture or the web address to some of Robert's content, something like that.

- Any ideas?
- What are your plans for this year's memorial?
- Thank you in advance!

It might be wise if you want to avoid any upset to time your arrival until they are all seated. At least then you might get to enjoy the meeting without having to endure an unwelcoming atmosphere. When I attended meetings under the same cloud, it felt very much as though I had stepped in something nasty. At least at then at the end of the meeting you can relax into conversation and hopefully not attract too much of an inquisition. I hope all goes well.

I believe it corresponds to the day the moon is full over Jerusalem
Also, just going on conjecture as I would need to do more research, but I don't think there being/not being a full moon is relevant to the result of the night of the memorial. It has been the case though for centuries, so, these sites showing differing dates for the full moon, etc. (which I honestly haven't looked at much) are just data to evaluate in our research, IMHO.

That is part of the reason why they push door-to-door field circus so much; they tell you that you will be treated badly, and when you are, they say "See you were persecuted". It galvanizes the R&F together and they isolate themselves.

I won't say D2D is completely ineffective, but it is a colossal waste of time. As of now, probably 90-95% of hours are spent riding around, going to Starbucks, and doing pretty much anything else but D2D. There is a reason they don't sell vacuum cleaners and knives door to door anymore.
You bring out some valid points here. When I've participated in the english communities, not been very fruitful, but it was not the lang of the cong I was in, so was mainly expanding friendships. The spanish communities however have exploded in growth, so yes, D2D has been fruitful and shown real growth from those who've invested time and effort in d2d witnessing. Now, however, in these days and times, and being in the foreign lang field, it's not been very fruitful. We've actually had shrinkage in our cong due to various factors, ie. distance, health challenges, no growth from ministry work, etc. along with having gone thru a consolidation. Yes, alot of time, gas and energy is spent driving around, especially when your territory is over multiple states; however, it's been joyful overall, imho. Maybe it's because, the culture of the ppl in our ministry are generally hospitable and welcoming, which definitely changes your outlook.

I already know we will probably get snubbed by some and side-eyed too but I will be going with my head held high and leave it in Jehovah’s capable hands.

Be happy we are seeing a natural decline in the effectiveness of the preaching work because this is more evidence that we are nearing the end of this system and we are close to seeing the rise of God’s Kingdom. I kinda of already thought or guessed that the preaching work would wind down just before the Great Tribulation.

It sounds like that it was a government restriction for public gatherings in the Philippines that Whitestone was talking about and if I am understanding Whitestone correctly maybe the organization is just not enforcing it now or not repeating it? Regardless, I'm not aware of them being that restrictive anywhere of public meetings in excess of local authorities. I just haven't heard that it happened. And Whitestone's description was mixed in with the discussion of the memorial ...which of course is a public meeting. Elder school is not a public meeting. We have two elders who are not going to school because of not being vaccinated. There is no issue. It is just not attending like being sick or out of town. As far as I can tell it does not seem that any of the elders or the CO had any issue about it. I agree that the organization pushed the vaccine and attached Jehovah's name to it and even made it contingent it for those in special full time service, but people make additional arguments that sometimes exceed the facts.

Right! And I'm not a fan of speculation! I want facts. I want to know if it was mandated for theocratic schools.
