What do you wish to do in paradise?

Agreed, it should certainly make a difference. But, we will still be imperfect, free moral agents who can make choices...good or bad. And, as humans, we have the tendency to complain when things, initially, might not be exactly as we thought. (as Carl said, if it ends up we have to get our hands dirty 😉). Think it's better to be mentally prepared just in case.
Just an opinion, though.

Exactly, and I think this is something most people completely over look. We are going to have to continue putting up with one another. True Satan won't be around, but we will still be imperfect. Although another thing we don't think about is Jehovah will heal us right away. If I could just feel like I did in my 20's I'd be a lot more motivated and a lot less likely to complain. And I think we will probably achieve physical perfection pretty quickly.

But just being healed will make tremendous difference in how we feel over all about the situation. Another thing to keep in mind, is all the anxieties of this system will also be gone. No one will be living pay check to pay check, wondering how they are going to take care of their family, worry about losing your job. Basically we'll all be able to live like the GB do right now...lol.

What did Paul say, "have you already begun ruling as Kings without us?" HAHA, there's definitely something to be said about patiently waiting.
 
Yes, sounds as if we're on the same page. Conditions will be so much better than they are today; however, it may take awhile for the earth and humans to be totally transformed into a replication of a Garden of Eden-like environment,
 
When God gave Adam and Eve the mandate to fill the earth and subdue it they were in Eden, which was a relatively small park. But that was the pattern for them. Presumably, God allowed for them to carry out their assignment for the entirety of his seventh day of rest. So, the 1000 years is just a fraction of that period. Of course, most people have already been born and have died and merely need to be resurrected. But the point is, God is not going to miraculously create paradise. That was mankind's original occupation and it will be renewed once Satan is put away.

The thing is, everything degrades. 10,000 years for radioactive decay seems a long time, but nothing in terms of forever.

Plastic degrades in 400 years by itself, or so they say. There are mushrooms in Chernobyl that live by consuming radiation. So it metabolizes radiation for it's cellular processes, and transforms into something harmless.

The thing the Jehovah's Witnesses miss is that they say Nuclear War isn't possible because the earth will be destroyed. Incorrect, the Earth will survive. How do you think Hiroshima and Nagasaski is thriving now?* Remember the scientists originally hypothesized on the possibility that a single nuclear detonation would cascade and result in the entire atmosphere of earth being on flames. See though the radiation part is highly overrated, because unlike a plant meltdown, detonation mostly consumes the radiation. The small amount left over allows future living beings to gain resistance.

Majority will be dealt naturally over the period. Let's say the rest is up for us to clean, it won't be that bad.

*The bombing happened in August of 1945. People started moving back in Spring of 1946. Only trace amounts of radiation detected in less than 2 years. Virtually undetectable after 5. Babies in the womb during the bombing developed some form of resistance.

Forgive me for covering the real truth for them turning their backs on me; It was more a case of not forgiving me for nearly killing thier mother. I am getting too much above myself. Claiming righteousness when really I have been given the opportunity after opportunity to repent. I believe it's true when scripture says 'Knowledge puffs up but love builds up'. I just had to correct that brothers! I've been looking for undeserved consolation of people rather than seeking the forgiveness from God.

(Isaiah 65:20) 20 “No more will there come to be a suckling a few days old from that place, neither an old man that does not fulfill his days; for one will die as a mere boy, although a hundred years of age; and as for the sinner, although a hundred years of age he will have evil called down upon him.

Let me start. The top marathon runner can sustain speeds of 20km/hr(~12 mile/h) for over 2 hours, the entire 42km distance. The fastest sprinter can reach top speeds of almost 45km/h(27 mile/h) at peak. While they are at the absolute pristine conditions of everything, they are still descendants of Adam. Our revived body when put under constant training may be able to replicate that or even better for lots of people.

-I would love to run to my hearts content, because it's when I feel truly free. The feeling of surroundings pass by, all by your energy, it's amazing. I used to be able to run at near full speeds for 500 meters. Now I am older and it's harder, even though I'm still not old. Jog for few hours, rest for few, and explore the Earth that way. I will be able to sleep anywhere for rest, even at night because we'll be able to completely trust every human, and there will be no harm done to you, because that's what Jehovah promises.

Till the day you can let your young daughters go free at any time without worries that they will be hurt.

-I can't fly, so I'd like to have birds as companions. Soar like I can't. See the fastest bird soar through the sky. Have a flock of hummingbirds at my beck and call.
-Actually I love technology. I'd love to be able to continue(electronic design) and use it in every way as a force for good, as it's meant to be. No more DARPA "two sides" nonsense.

I do not understand why anyone should be scared beyond what is necessary. The scriptures are quite plain on the matter. “Fear not those that kill the body, but can not destroy the soul.” Yes, it sounds easy to say, especially from those apostles that had personal inspiration and wrote down the words of the bible. But unless we get a grip on ourselves and exercise faith in their writings, inspired as they are, then just what hope is there? “Do not be terrified” the bible says. Why? Because of that very scripture - “Do not fear…”. We have to understand that we may not make it through, but I suspect that will be more of our own making, than that of Jehovah. Why would he want us to die and not survive though to the end? (And who the hell wants to stay here without Him?)

Surely the test comes from ourselves? The more we depend upon Jehovah and give ourselves over to faith, then the less we have to prove. Jehovah wishes “no one to die…”, and so the obvious thing to do is to believe in that. “Test and see that Jehovah is true to His word.” I can appreciate that to dream of paradise is nice, but save that for a balmy summer evening in a cooling breeze. It is all about what we do now - that is the key to living our dream. It is about whom we are, what we are, what we truly know and understand about the attributes of the Spirit, whether we are owning those attributes, developing them for ourselves, fixing our heart condition and addressing honestly our innermost persuasions that persuade us to do otherwise.

Yes, by all means dream of paradise, but, if you choose to dream of the attributes of Jehovah, there is the real beauty, far greater than anything yet seem or beheld upon earth. It that flies like a bird on the wing riding the thermals up into the sky as though on a cloud of silken gossamer; it stamps its feet with the strength of the Moose, ploughing through the snowdrifts in the Yellowstone, or the bear fishing for its salmon with a mighty swipe of its paw. There is the true aspect of “Love”, that sores like an eagle through the sky, it’s huge wings supporting its heart on a cushion of soft warm air as it flows through the sky casting its shadows on all below, a signal or eternal presence through the heavens, feathered, warm, floating endlessly, enveloping the soul of all that look upon such a beautiful sight as it calls down from the heavens in the shear joy of just living its purpose for which it was created. Therein is the beauty of the Spirit. It is more than our imagination can bare to behold, greater still than our mind could conceive, more powerful than the set of Everest seated within the earth, its roots of stone, melded and molten, pervading the very soul of the earth itself in its reach toward every living thing, A true foundation. We can have paradise today. No waiting required, no dream necessary. Simply “understanding”. “…with all that you acquire, acquire ”understanding””.

It’s tough to pick any one thing. When I do work that benefits me and my family, it is truly a work of love that I love doing it and enjoy the results. It doesn’t even seem like work. But I also love music and would love to learn guitar and sing. But another thing that in this system I rarely get to do that I love is to sail on a boat. I think I could sail around the world and never feel lonely.

I feel you on this. It would be a challenge to struggle though all of that & then the next thing we have to do is a ton of work! I don't like the idea either but the accounts of Exodus through Deuteronomy comes to mind. Being out in the wilderness had to be very frustrating after looking at death itself (Pharaoh in his madness). However, eventually they did reach the promise land & were able to live life as they were intended to. Hang in there & stay sane!

I suppose that's one way to look at it. I know in this world you can try to do the best you can & still get buried under it all no matter how hard you try. There are forces that do gang stalk, harass, haunt, & do harm in order to make sure you are stuck.
