I have to relate the story of our home, which was a real dump when we bought it. The prior owners put “lipstick on a pig” by partially remodeling the kitchen but the entire home, although livable, was pretty close to a tear-down. The first time my washing spun out of cycle, it shook the house so much that I honestly thought we were having a earthquake. But we loved our home because it was ours. We were no longer renters and I knew it was a matter of time before we could rebuild and we have an ocean view so, it was worth it. Meditator even made the sacrifice to live in a tent with our dogs for a couple of months during stormy, muddy weather, because we tore down everything but the subfloor to rebuild and it took time to lay a solid foundation. It didn’t feel like a sacrifice to us, it felt like a journey with a wonderful destination. So, we did a lot of work ourselves and even when we hired people we worked shoulder to shoulder with them. Our home came out beautiful and it was a wonderful experience. I think the aftermath of Armageddon will be much the same only grander.I feel you on this. It would be a challenge to struggle though all of that & then the next thing we have to do is a ton of work! I don't like the idea either but the accounts of Exodus through Deuteronomy comes to mind. Being out in the wilderness had to be very frustrating after looking at death itself (Pharaoh in his madness). However, eventually they did reach the promise land & were able to live life as they were intended to. Hang in there & stay sane!
I suppose that's one way to look at it. I know in this world you can try to do the best you can & still get buried under it all no matter how hard you try. There are forces that do gang stalk, harass, haunt, & do harm in order to make sure you are stuck.
