What do you wish to do in paradise?

I feel you on this. It would be a challenge to struggle though all of that & then the next thing we have to do is a ton of work! I don't like the idea either but the accounts of Exodus through Deuteronomy comes to mind. Being out in the wilderness had to be very frustrating after looking at death itself (Pharaoh in his madness). However, eventually they did reach the promise land & were able to live life as they were intended to. Hang in there & stay sane!

I suppose that's one way to look at it. I know in this world you can try to do the best you can & still get buried under it all no matter how hard you try. There are forces that do gang stalk, harass, haunt, & do harm in order to make sure you are stuck.
I have to relate the story of our home, which was a real dump when we bought it. The prior owners put “lipstick on a pig” by partially remodeling the kitchen but the entire home, although livable, was pretty close to a tear-down. The first time my washing spun out of cycle, it shook the house so much that I honestly thought we were having a earthquake. But we loved our home because it was ours. We were no longer renters and I knew it was a matter of time before we could rebuild and we have an ocean view so, it was worth it. Meditator even made the sacrifice to live in a tent with our dogs for a couple of months during stormy, muddy weather, because we tore down everything but the subfloor to rebuild and it took time to lay a solid foundation. It didn’t feel like a sacrifice to us, it felt like a journey with a wonderful destination. So, we did a lot of work ourselves and even when we hired people we worked shoulder to shoulder with them. Our home came out beautiful and it was a wonderful experience. I think the aftermath of Armageddon will be much the same only grander.

I agree. Building even a shed is a big task. If you are at risk of being homeless, you'd appreciate any roof over your head. If that's a dilapidated home with foundations intact, then that's gravy, if you can get it cheap.

Just keep in mind that paradise has to be built. It will likely take hundreds of years. Just clearing away the debris and wreckage of this system will probably take decades. Then comes the renovation of the earth, getting rid of the tons of chemicals that have been spewed everywhere. Then lots of building, logging, quarrying, and learning how to make things.
It will most likely take the whole millennial reign.

The 39th chapter of Ezekiel is the basis for it.

“‘Yes, this is coming, and it will be done,’ declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. ‘This is the day I have spoken about. The inhabitants of the cities of Israel will go out and make fires with the weapons—the bucklers and shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs* and lances. And they will use them to light fires for seven years. They will not need to take wood from the field or gather firewood from the forests because they will use the weapons to light fires. They will take spoil from those who despoiled them and plunder from those who had been plundering them,’ declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. “‘On that day I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel, in the valley of those who travel east of the sea, and it will block the path of those passing through. That is where they will bury Gog and all his hordes, and they will call it the Valley of Hamon-Gog. The house of Israel will spend seven months burying them in order to cleanse the land. All the people of the land will work at burying them, and this will bring them fame in the day that I glorify myself,’ declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. “‘Men will be assigned to pass through the land constantly and bury the bodies left remaining on the surface of the earth, in order to cleanse it. They will continue the search for seven months. When those who pass through the land see a human bone, they will set up a marker beside it. Then those assigned to do the burying will bury it in the Valley of Hamon-Gog. And there will also be a city there named Hamonah. And they will cleanse the land.’
I have always wondered about this chapter. The Society does not speak about it too much and when they have, it's weird and confusing. Haha. That's why I ask here. How is it that the Bible says that those who die in Armageddon will not be buried or mourned, but Ezekiel says that they will be buried. Does that mean that they will not be buried for some time while the birds and beasts feed on them and then the great crowd will do that work? Are those 7 months symbolic or literal? What about lighting Fires with the weapons of our enemies? What does that mean? Thank you.

Mick, it’s who we are now!
Looking back on my posts instead of reasoning gently with others I was being judgemental puffed up! Glass of booze in one hand while posting with the other: Intoxicated with the wrong spirit...chortle. But! Being aware of a constant 150 onlookers who no doubt have become disaffected with Watchtower; It would be sad for them to witness the same behaviour being appropriated here! So I'm working hard to adopt a mild manner with lowliness of mind! P.s and put the glass down!

My mother used to tell me that the greatest ”high” was “reality”. It was probably the truest words she ever uttered.

It’s tough to pick any one thing. When I do work that benefits me and my family, it is truly a work of love that I love doing it and enjoy the results. It doesn’t even seem like work. But I also love music and would love to learn guitar and sing. But another thing that in this system I rarely get to do that I love is to sail on a boat. I think I could sail around the world and never feel lonely.

You would not be lonely because "I'm Your Captain" LOL

After other sheep will do whatever tasks Jesus will give them, under the coordination of the princes of the new world and paradise will be restored, it will come to this - ‭‭Judges‬ ‭21:24‭-‬25‬ ‭

[24] And the sons of Israel departed from there at that time, every man to his tribe and family, and each one departed from there to his inheritance. [25] In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Jehovah
As the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2.

Human family will be perfected and under Jehovah's protection. There will not be hardship anymore because Jehovah promised that and because old things will have been passed away.

Isaiah 65

17 For look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth;+
And the former things will not be called to mind,*
Nor will they come up into the heart.+
18 So exult and be joyful forever in what I am creating.
For look! I am creating Jerusalem a cause for joy
And her people a cause for exultation.+
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem and exult in my people;+
No more will there be heard in her the sound of weeping or a cry of distress.”+
20 “No more will there be an infant from that place who lives but a few days,
Nor an old man who fails to live out his days.
For anyone who dies at a hundred will be considered a mere boy,
And the sinner will be cursed, even though he is a hundred years of age.*
21 They will build houses and live in them,+
And they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage.+
22 They will not build for someone else to inhabit,
Nor will they plant for others to eat.
For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree,+
And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full.
23 They will not toil* for nothing,*+
Nor will they bear children for distress,
Because they are the offspring* made up of those blessed by Jehovah,+
And their descendants with them.+
24 Even before they call out, I will answer;
While they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together,
The lion will eat straw just like the bull,+
And the serpent’s food will be dust.
They will do no harm nor cause any ruin in all my holy mountain,”+ says Jehovah.

A really beautiful scripture, especially the verses 24 and 25. 👍

As we don't know how the heavens look like, humans beautifying and maintaining the land, can be one of the most intense and rewarding pleasures that Jehovah blessed us with. Social interaction between like minded and peaceful people it's also something that can keep us endlessly fulfilled and happy.
