Do you know that there are actually people today that deny the existence of nukes?! Flat earth is just the tip of the iceberg apparently.

Pretty much. Every chemical reaction follows Einstein's equation; E=MC squared AFAIK. Binding mass is being changed to energy all around us (Exothermic). Sometime energy is being converted to binding mass. (Endothermic). Nukes release tremendous amounts of binding energy when the atoms are split is all.

w_Stone I'd suggest a visit to Wikipedia and have a look at what's discussed regarding Einstein's work and the equation he's famous for.

Be aware of the Dunning-kruger effect:

We all suffer from that in one way or another.
I was in hospital for weeks suffering from the Dunning-Kruger effect. The surgeon was convinced about the benefits of blood transfusion and you just can’t tell them what they don‘t think you know that they don’t know and are not sure of but thought you did. It’s a nasty illness. It’s incurable in many people yet some have reduced the instances of recurrence by subscribing to the Encyclopaedia Britannica.

means that the king in the north will be taken out and that the king in the south will triumph
They also think that all religion will instantly be destroyed by some miracle with no warning, no development in the world what so ever, and that will be the "beginning" of TGT. They don't ever try to make logical sense out of how, 1.7 billion Muslims, 2.3 billion Christians, 1.1 billion Hindu's are suddenly going to disappear over night. You know why they don't try to explain it? Because none of them have thought it through as far as what I just wrote. How could the governements world wide accomplish such a thing? "Jehovah puts it in there minds." In other words its not the government but Jehovah that does this. So what is he waiting for? None of it makes a lick of sense.

Revelation 18:8-19 indicates it will be swift. Not everyone on earth will agree. Even those in positions of power and authority will be sad but they will not step in to help. Whatever it is, it will be one doozy of an action (military? police? financial?). I agree, there must be some kind of lead-up. Perhaps a sword stroke and new king?

Yea.. it has been frustrating at times.. especially over the last couple of years. im so glad i found you guys.. and Roberts book🙂👍 it was like when Elijah was told by Jehovah he wasnt alone but there were actually 7000 who never bent their knee to Baal he didnt know about. it gave me the strenght to keep calm and focus on strengthening my personal relationship with Jehovah. and finally i realized the full extent of «the truth shall set you free» 🙂 NO humans nor angels even can stop Jah from giving me his love. Not even the gb..

You will have to look it up on the internet, ladyblue. It’s too much to explain here in any meaningful manner. I expect you find some description of it there. I used to spend an inordinate amount of time dealing with its varied outcomes at work. It’s not a physical illness, I was simply joking with Kirmmy, but it’s an interesting thesis on how people deal with how they view themselves and their need to feel valued. It’s more to do with psychology. I always had (professional) sympathy with such ones and in fact, we all suffer from the need to be valued to a degree. If we did not, then we would be perceived as arrogant - so you cannot really win either way. Having said that, the whole watchtower ethos is slanted to the perceived wisdom of the GB and so if you wish to look into the subject, you could apply your insight of the GB to the theory and get an idea of its application within the behaviours and needs of others. (It is more theory than recognised syndrome by the way - it is largely the result of todays competitive values due to the breakdown of the class system. In my day even, we would “know our place“ and have none of the pretensions that we often do now but it’s always been that way in England until the woke millennials came on the scene and usurped our cultural heritage. (How I manage without my butler, I don’t know). You could also if you are interested, read Helen Bee’s book - Lifespan Development. That is more to do with markers, but nonetheless, does offer insight into needs and values as we mature. If we mature that is…my wife has her doubts about me and I cannot blame her.

Except this will not be the beginning of the GT. This will happen after 8th King comes to power after the GT, when the 'image of the wild beast" is made. Religion will be destroyed until the 8th King heralds in it's One World Religion, to go along with it's One World Government. In this way it will truly be a "New World Order."

It will be like the "Days of Noah", because when Satan and his demons really are confined to the earth, they will make their presence known, and they will seem like gods!

The real reason no one litstened to Noah is becasue you had "gods" living among mankind. History is about to repeat itself, and JW's are going to be blind sided!

It calls to my mind of Nimrod and his support base planned a centralizing government that would be considered a one world government and full of corruption, the Tower of Babel that would be built so high that flood waters could never reach them. Despite Jehovah's promise of never flooding the world like that ever again as the rainbow represents that promise. That very same rainbow now used for the LGBTQ insanity. And now with the climate change extremists despite the scripture at Ec. 1:4. "Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever."

It's like these "Nimrods" (appropriate name for them) are trying so hard to build up this new Tower of Babel of a one world government through the great reset agenda and to "Build Back Better" and they're doing it all like the delusional nimrods that they are by killing livestock cause they fart too much and handicapping our resources and destroying our natural body functions through vaccines and demonic propaganda campaigns that promote big pharma.

The actual fulfillment might be something entirely different. Perhaps a laser or particle beam weapon.
Or maybe real nuclear terrible weapons that will amaze and terrify anyone who dares to defy them, the beast, or its image. Anyone who dares to defy the elite.

It's directed to many Christian religions. Those that promote Trinity doctrine and so on.
That calling will happen because they will be captives of Babylon the Great or at least will be in some way related to her. It's like what happened in ancient Israel. There are passages in the Bible that tells the Israelites not to touch the impure things of Babylon. It seems that God's people will receive the same order in the future but taken to another level, different than the one proclaimed now. That will work as a difference between those who will be destroyed along with Babylon the Great then (the third part of mankind) or after, and those who will be saved during that destruction.

Yes I did look up the information about the Dunning-Kruger effect. I learn that it‘s a state of mind whereby one tends to overestimate their own level of skill and fail to recognize skill in others. How interesting that they would have a name for something like that. 🧐

I think a lot of different people feel this way because of their need to feel valued. Years ago a doctor (who was a JW from Texas) so his evaluation of me was done through mail correspondence based upon a test he sent me to answer certain questions. The results he came up with were that I had a false sense of perception.

From then on I would have to question and rethink the way I would view certain matters of importance. Although I’m not doing that so much today but maybe I should…

For example, think about how I perceived you were serious when telling kirmmy you were in the hospital suffering from the Dunnig-Kruger effect. Lol, I don’t know how I manage to keep falling for your “just joking“ every time! 🤦‍♀️

It wasn’t until later on that I realized you weren’t serious, especially after I saw Nomex’s laugh response. 🤣
Maybe I’m finally beginning to learn something.

“A false sense of perception…”. If I may say so, I should take that ‘diagnosis‘ with a pinch of salt ladyblue. It is not wise to take to heart a life changing course based upon a psychology test. Tests in themselves are only an opinion of another based upon the theory of another and the outcomes of study - and which is often superficial and flawed - and offer an insight rather than a diagnosis - and insight, anyone’s insight, is just part of a far, far wider picture for consideration on any topic. Personality and perception are fragments of personality that as a collective, form the person, and we should all strive to be comfortable as who we are. If we are not happy in one part of our life, then fine, address that, but as for taking on a complete change, though possible for abuse sufferers (for example, with the right care and over a long time), takes an extraordinarily wealthy insight from qualified people with professional empathy, insight and experience of life well above and beyond their academic prowess - and never, ever by post! There would be few, if any, upsets on this site if people could see the person they are speaking with, and less still if we could hear the person‘s voice, and even fewer if we could understand their temperament. It is that powerful. It is prudent to be yourself, for the sake of yourself, and allow others to come to you, rather than you worry about them, or whether you are ‘good enough’.

Not one of us have a false sense of perception, because we are whom we are. Your value is unique to you and those that love you. Outside of that, it is the responsibility of others to care for you as an individual, with respect for whom you are and what you are. And what you are is why those who love you, love you. Eight billion of us exist and not one of us perceives the world in the same way. We conform, yes, but that is for the sake of existence. But who we are, is a gift from Jehovah for us to shape and form according to our hearts. I can tell you truly that humour is simply a cultural issue. What is funny here, is usually not funny in America, and certainly not in Germany. I have just as much difficulty finding the laughs from America (what there is of them (( and that’s a joke too!)). The only thing for you, me, all of us here is to study and uncover the attributes of Jehovah and apply them in our lives. Anything above that, is a bonus and a much valued one for me and I am sure for others too because it is a learning curve of getting on in a Christian manner. The best advice I could give if you say you want to ‘learn something”, is for you to love yourself first, and that people will love you for whom you are. That much is certain. My humour is hardly a facet of character that one should aspire to, or waste time trying to understand, though I have to say, it was appreciated at work, but then all social workers thrive on dark humour and acidic observations on life - you have to have a sense of proportion when one gent hung himself outside our office one morning. I still wonder if it was something I said.

Actually, I’ve never heard of the Dunning-Kruger effect till now.
An example of the D-K effect:

Let's use our host to illustrate an example.

Robert has been reading and carefully studying the Bible for pretty much his entire life. One could call him a PhD when it comes to the Bible. Is the trinity true? He knows it isn't from a fervent study of the Bible (With the help of the HS, of course) and can easily prove it isn't scripturally and from many other angles.

Now you'll get someone who has studied the Bible a bit and has been guided by disingenuous jackasses that "prove" the trinity to this person.

Said person will fight tooth and nail with Robert over the trinity claiming it's a proven concept and RK is "stupid", "just doesn't get it" and is "evil".

That person is suffering from the D-K effect. They have little to no real knowledge of the subject but they believe themselves to be an expert.

BTW, a joke I've always enjoyed:
What's an expert?
A has-been drip under pressure.

"He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of the sky to the earth in the presence of people."
Revelation 13:13
I always thought about this paragraph and believed this prophecy refers to the general ability of today's big powers to rain down fire from heaven under the form of rockets launched from different platforms. Of course in the future it only going to get more sophisticated.

The operation of Satan is directed against Christians and is intended to dupe them into believing that everything has been fulfilled, particularly that the Kingdom has already come.
i think this is the most important take away- that Satan will keep doing this because it works and has worked. Jesus said that this confidence game is so effective that it will even deceive the chosen ones IF THAT WERE POSSIBLE (implying it is not, at least for the chosen ones). ((((-:

the dupe in all thiis is the timing not the substance, as you point out. So in doing so, it more effectively transfers the prophecies and the prophetic denunciations to obscurity and renders any arguement against substance moot. And the timing lurks in the background, unnoticed. Amazing, really.

i always thought this referred to giant, fiery hailstones. It’s funny that way- you can kinda date yourself according to what “light” was prédominante during your indoctrination into WT.
